Nanami tried to avoid this for so long. Tried to avoid reading your journal and he was successful for a few months. Every time he reached out to pick up the journal it felt as if the journal was burning him. But now he needed to look at every little thing as possible, you probably left him a secret message or something. He pours himself a glass of whiskey as he walks around his apartment. He didn't take a sip yet as he is notably pacing around the living room.

With a sigh, he slowly lifted the journal Yuji gave him and his fingers trembled as they slid across the cover. It was a simple black journal but it felt very heavy in his hands. He went to his armchair, sat, and placed his glass on the table. Finally gathering up the courage he opens the journal.

One of the first things he sees is a bunch of doodles and sketches. Nanami didn't think much of it, but there was a tug on the corner of his lips. A rough sketch of him along with Gojo and tinier sketches of Yuji and Megumi. Nanami's eyes scan the pages where he watches your thought process over these 'paths' you would see. Mainly dealing with him.

It was hard to read as it was a scribbling mess and blotches of wet spots on the paper. Yuji wasn't kidding when he said Nanami was hard to save. Kento's end was never peaceful, it was abrupt and painful.

There was a path where it looked like you found a way to save him. In this journal, it looked like you followed the path for a while, not looking into other ones. His eyes narrow when he sees a note that you bought him a birthday present and that things are going as planned. He has come to realize these notes are left by you because trying to remember every little detail of the futures is impossible and it can leave you in a state of confusion.

He remembers sometimes you look to be in a daze, your eyes twitching, and looking around as if you're not sure where you are. Nanami had to "wake" you up at times, wondering why you daydreamed a lot. Now he can see it was because your mind was getting distorted and mixing the visions with reality.

Even in your notes, there is a mixture of paths and confusion and Kento wonders how scared you must've been. So confused to the point you're wondering if the people around you are real or fake, who's still alive and who died. His chest twisted uncomfortably as he overlooked you being in pain and scared when you needed him most.

So how did you overcome it?

Kento brings out his phone and calls Gojo. On the first ring, Gojo picked up the phone. "Kento my husband how are you?!" Gojo's voice springs cheerfully through the phone.
