"Did you have to cut him so deep?" You asked, Sukuna sending him a glare.
"He was asking for it when he took you away from me," Sukuna said, frowning at you as he was standing near a desk. The King was scowling as you were standing close to Yuji, who took his shirt off to give you easier access to stitch his wounds. You made Sukuna give you his medical kid so you can heal Yuji. Your hands are bloody as you stitch Yuji's back, who is taking it like a champ. Pain means nothing to Yuji, makes you jealous that his body can go through hell and it won't be enough to slow him down.
"Oh fuck off you anal sprout," Yuji hissed, glaring at Sukuna. You look confused at Yuji's insult because what the hell was an anal sprout?
All three of you are hiding in a safe room. Your hands shake as you hear the zombies walking around the police station, hearing their growls and pursuit for you three. You have placed Yuji's flashlight between your shoulder and cheek to give yourself some light. It was hard to do, but you made it work. Yuji refused to have Sukuna anywhere near him and you were afraid they would fight each other again.
As you finish the third wound, you move onto the fourth, the tension in the room so thick you could cut it with a hot knife and it still wouldn't slice through. You hear shuffling around the room and immediately turn to the sound, ready to bash the intruder's head in with the flashlight. While also accidentally pulled the thread in Yuji's skin from mid-stitch. "Ow!" Yuji yelled as he was yanked backward while your hand was grabbed in the air.
"It's just me, I'm giving you more light," Sukuna said, his tone full of boredom as he easily caught your attack. With that, he flips the light switch on and the familiar save room music starts playing as soon as the lights flicker on. Sukuna rose a brow as sudden music was playing, but you or Yuji were not commenting on it. As the lights turn on, you're given a clearer picture of Yuji's injuries. While you're doing your best to stitch as much as you can the slashes from Sukuna was deep.
So deep it scared you because, at any moment, Sukuna could do this to you. While you have no reason to believe he would harm you like this, it reminds you that you're no longer protected against Sukuna's attacks. And just how close or valuable are you to him? He's the King of Curses, he can do whatever he wants or take whatever he wants without remorse or much thought.
It's like Yuji's presence, reminded you of all the dangers Sukuna was capable of. Unknowingly, Yuji popped that bubble where you and Sukuna were just...you and Sukuna. Being sassy towards each other, teasing each other, going to each other for comfort, and now Yuji popped it.
