Sukuna rubbed his face as he stood in the kitchen, the sound of coffee brewing in the pot. You were sleeping in the bedroom and he just needed something, something to taste. And coffee seemed like the best option.

From the sofa, he can clearly see Yuji staring at him, wanting to know how you're doing and things like that. But Sukuna ignored him, waiting for the coffee to brew.

Just ignore the brat.

....

....

Yuji got up from the couch within the next five seconds and now beside Sukuna, staring him down like a fucking maniac.

Sukuna's eyes squint in annoyance, his fist curling, holding back the urge to punch the kid. He doesn't acknowledge the brat, hoping the idiot will leave him the hell alone. Instead, Yuji pressed on, even leaning close and he had to stand on his tippy toes to do this. Yuji's stare turns into a scowl as he waits for Sukuna to tell him what he wants to know.

"Just tell me how she is already!" Yuji snaps, losing patience.

Sukuna let out a sigh of frustration and opted to turn his head away. If Sukuna can't see him, then he's not there. Yuji threw his hands in the air. "I wish Tenshi was here," Yuji mutters, frowning. He wished Sukuna's big brother was here to guide Yuji to help take care of you.

At Yuji's words, Sukuna swiftly glared down at the brat. "Don't speak about him, brat," Sukuna snarled.

"I don't mean any malicious intentions Sukuna, I just wish he was here to help us, either to make a special medicine or use guidance to help Y/N," Yuji argued back as the curse made himself a cup of coffee. Sukuna's scowl doesn't lessen as he puts cream and sugar into his coffee.

"No amount of medicine will help brat, she has been traumatized in many ways that the average person doesn't go through," Sukuna said, now taking a sip of his coffee. "It's not physical, it's mental." Something Sukuna will have trouble healing. He hates being weak in that department, he can heal all your wounds and cuts and scrapes, but your soul and mind have been damaged.

The body will always remember the extensive injuries.
