Special Chapter: Justice for the Mistress

KAI:

"Appa, are we going to see omma off her room today?" His little angel ask while pouting her lips cutely.

"Yes baby!" He can't help but smile at it. "And guess what? Omma will go home with us!" He added which made her eyes sparkle in excitement.

"Really Appa? I'm so excited! Does that mean I can sleep with her tonight?" She ask, hoping ofcourse. He nodded and that made her squeal.

"Okay missy! Brace yourself now. We'll going to see omma!" He patted his child's cheek to wake her up, that made her stirr and immediately hop out of the car.

"Hello Mr. Kim! Good to see you. She's in her room, preparing her stuffs. You can check her there." The attendant greeted and he thank her for the info.

"Appa, is omma okay to leave this place with doctors and nurses away?" His child ask while tugging the hem of his shirt. He crouch to level their gazes and patted her shoulder.

Worry is evedent to her eyes and though really young as five years old, she understands why everything happens between her and her parents.

"Omma will be okay Kylie. She's good and she can't wait to see you. Don't you miss her?" He said and she nodded in response. "Then comon' and greet her with those reserved hugs and kisses."

They walk through the hall to her room and knock before letting themself in. For 3 years, this room serve as their second home. A place were they live as a family for an hour everyday.

A smile etch on his face upon seeing her properly dressed and healthy looking. Three years past and he can now see her with full of life on her face.

After the incident, Soo Jung were immediately sent to jail by Luhan's parents but then sent out to mental hospital when her family finds out about the psychological effect on her.

Kai, though hopeless, take the responsibility of tending Kylie's needs and struggle to fix their relationship.

Soo Jung were in a mess, crying all day and night, muttering sorries for her carelessness. She's really in a great trauma after that, that she couldn't grasp everything right and even disown her child and Kai.

"Soo Jung-ah~" Kai called and she turn on their way and meet them with a big hug and sweet kisses.

"Aigoo~ my lettle Kylie. How are you?" She coo and put kisses on her child's head.

"Omma..appa said you're going home with us. It's true right?" She ask with those hopefull eyes blinking cutely.

"Yes ofcourse. You know how much I missed sleeping with you, right? Omma will be happy to live with you and appa." She said and glance at him then smiled.

"Are you feeling alright Soo Jung-ah?" He asked.

"Yah! Yeobo! Why so formal? Calling me out with my name makes me feel uncomfortable." She whine and he can't help but chuckle at that coz for the first time, Soo Jung finally called him by an endearment and even oppose to call her by the name.

"Why are you smiling like that? You look mentally ill." She glared at him. "Ommo! Don't tell me you'll be the next in here?" She gasped. "God, I'm so sick of this place. I can't bear to go back in here again nor visit it for once, so please yeobo! Don't be like that!"

He laugh at her reaction and didn't wait for her upcoming fit again, and before she could make it, she trap her on his arms and hug her tightly.

"Yah~ I'm just so happy you call me that way, and the fact that you now allow me to use that endearment can't help me hold that happiness I have in. So no, I won't let you get back in here again.." he look at her in the eyes and cup her both cheeks."I promise to take good care of you..you and Kylie is the only thing I have, the best thing I have indeed. You were the only one's left for me to stay still. You were only the right from all the wrongs I've done in the past, so I must man up and never commit mistakes of letting you go jagiya. I'm so sorry for everything."

"Yah~ you don't have to say sorry. I must be the one to say that.." she held his both hands and feel it on hers. "I've been a bad wife to you. I never considered your feelings and even risked Kylie's life. I'm a bad mom either..it seems like I can't afford you two to be my own family." She cried as she held both of them in her arms.

"Omma.." Kylie called.

"Why baby?" She asked and now look at him whose grinning from ear to ear. "Waegurae?!"

"Aniyo..I just can't help myself but smile at the thought you even think of me as your husband." He answered and now broke into wide smile.

"Aniyo! It's just that..." she trailed off and facepalm in embarassment. "Aish!! I'm going crazy!!"

"Omma!" Kylie said out loud that made her stop.

"Oh! I'm sorry baby..it's just that.." she eyed him whose now in serious mode. "I think of you as my husband..ofcourse, because you are my child's father. Does that make any sense?"

"Yes, but I'm happy if you could accept me as your real one." He said and she furrowed her brows. "I mean, if you will accept this..." he trail off while retrieving something on his pocket then kneeled in front of her.

"Jagiya~ I know I'm a bit late. Too late if I may say since we had Kylie already, but I want to make things official and I want you to be mine, whole mine that I could call my very own wife." He pause only to gasp an air of courage to continue. "I know labels aren't important, but you really know me. I'm selfish and wants to mark my own territory."

He smiled at her whose now doing the same while waiting for the word she's expecting him to say.

"Jung Soo Jung..will you marry me?" He finally utter and without even saying a word she rushed to hug him and cried in his arms.

"Wait! You haven't say anything yet. Should I be happy now? Should I celebrate for a yes?" He ask as he struggle to free and see her face but she's so stubborn to break the hug.

"Ofcourse it's a yes! You dummy! How could I resist that romantic proposal!" She manage between her sobs and that made him shout for joy while lifting her up in the air.

Truly, love can win everything, even hatred and fear.

Love defeats the hatred that once eat his heart for pushing some things that wasn't right at first

Love wins the fear that he might loose her for telling the truth and in the end, love conquers all and it made them whole again, the family he wished to be owned officially for the long time.

As for her...

It may be the end of the story, but just the beginning of them. And for her very own family, she's now ready to face the world and face the persons that once she causes pain and mysery.

She's now ready to face them and ask for forgiveness, the thing she thinks of the whole time. The forgiveness she wants to achieve for all the bad things she'd done.

Life may be a bit harsh to them, but at the end of the day, at the end of every story, it gave them justice for the act they made. Indeed, it's worth the pain.
