JENNY:
It's our second day here in the Island. According to Jeonmyeon we have a lot of activities packed ahead of us and it will be a tiring day, yet I'm so excited to discover more beautiful places here.
I get up more earlier today. I do some stretching to wake my stuck up joints and tired muscles. I look around our room and outside for him, my husband, who seems not around again. I think he go out early today. Well, what should I expect! That rude husband of mine enjoys hanging out alone.
I hurriedly run to the terrace as I remember what Jeonmyeon said yesterday, that the sunrise is the best here and so I waited for the sun to shine. I do bring my camera to take some photos of it for remembrance and I'll show him later.
I waited for about 20 minutes before the sun came out and greet me with its warm bright rays. I held the camera and take some shots.
"Wow! It's really beautiful!" I mumble scanning the pictures and stare at the scene after.
Done with relaxing, I prepare myself and headed to the hotel's lobby and meet my tour guide.
"Good morning Jenny! How's your sleep? Did you had enough of it?" he greeted.
"Yes! By the way I watch the sunrise and you're right! It's really beautiful! I'll show you some pictures later."I said and wave my camera in front of him.
"I'm glad you liked it. I love the sunrise here that's why I choose this as a perfect place to build a hotel." he said which made me gawked in surprise.
"What? You own this hotel?" I asked. I never thought he's such a rich freak. He nodded in reply and smile sheepishly.
Really?
"Err..I guess we have to go now? Are you ready?" He said breaking the awkward situation.
"O-Okay..." I said the smiled sheepishly. I suddenly felt shy the moment I realized I've been treating the hotel owner as a simple tour guide. Silly me!
We headed to the hotel, or rather his hotel's parking lot with no one talking. This is awkward!
Passing through the expensive cars that aligned perfectly on the garage, we finally stop in front of this expensive car. I'm not that good in identifying the models but the logo says its ferrari. Sure it's damn expensive.
"You own this?" I ask pointing the black car in front of us.
"Yeah. Why?" he asked, like duh-it's-o-big-deal.
"N-Nothing." was all I said as I take a look at the shining expensive car in front of me.
"Common' get inside." he open the car's door and gestured me to get in. I followed and he open the other side and let himself in.
We we're both quiet the entire time as we take the road to whatever place he has first on his list. I think he noticed it so he broke the silence between us.
"Are you sure you're okay Jenny?" he asked giving me that concerned look.
"Oh! Yeah!" I replied and force a smile.
Knowing that he's such a rich kid made me feel awkward being around him suddenly that talking to him would be the most dumb thing to do. Adds up to it that I used him as a tour guide. The rich man as my tour guide? Really Jenny? How princess like it will be?
"If you're thinking that I just take you for granted because I'm a rich man, then please don't. I offer to be your tour guide because you're one of my customers and I find it fun to be with you. Please feel free to enjoy, I'm not that picky when it comes to dealing with friends. I treat them well, especially when I like them." he suddenly said like reading what I had in my mind.
