Leaves fall one by one as the thin air touches its tiny twigs. Its gentle breeze somehow soothingly calm everyone’s mind, but not for her whose grieving all the entire time for her child’s sudden attack.

She was there, sitting lazily in this bench settled on the side of the park were sort of citizens crowding the area.

Her eyes flew to those kids whose happily playing with their parents. Their laughs filled the air and though too noisy, its sound purposely wins over the buzzing surroundings.

A single tear unknowingly trickled on her face as she watches the scene and again it didn’t hesitate to pour more. She harshly wipes it off as she thinks she’s crying too much for the day.

It’s been two days since she and Sehun last met, it’s on that party of course we’re the unexpected meet up happen.

After that incident, Sehun didn’t get to visit her and Kylie. He just called her after that and reasoned out to be busy for his work, but she took it as his lame excuse, as always.

It’s been two days also since Kylie stayed on the ICU for her treatment, and in those two days she’s too stressed to handle everything since the doctor said that her case gets too serious at this time.

She held the paper cup tightly on her hand and squeezes it till some coffee spilled and washed though her hand.

She threw it away as she find it hot and continue to sob on, not bothered by some folks whose eyeing her in surprise. Of course, she’s an actress after all and all news from her as of today made her more famous.

As she took notice of it, she silently wipes her tears and decides to go back to the hospital to take a peek at Kylie.

“I’m afraid we can’t do anything to save her. The cancer cells spread throughout her system and if she continues to be like this she can’t probably survive the chemo.”

The doctor explained as they both stood beside the bed, facing towards the sleeping Kylie.

“Doctor-nim..” she tilts her head, facing the doctor with her most sorrowful look. “…is there anything I could do to save her? What about blood transfusion? Would it work?” she asked.

The doctor sighed and looks down before shaking his head in answer. She brought a hand to cup her face and hide her tears. The room filled with her silent sobs and the doctor silently takes his leave to let her figure things out on her own.

All this time, everything seems so hopeless. Everything were seems so hard for her to grasp, and she can’t stand the pain she has now.

What will happen if Kylie dies? Should she forgive herself for being a selfish mom for her? Should she even accept it and live normally after she disappears?
