Chapter 10: Apologize

The next morning the kids were sat talking about lo'ak adventure

"Your still an idiot"said nin as she braid  tuks hair not paying attention to the conversation

"Yeah whatever but this tulkun had a missing fin"

"Pakan"mumbled Aonung

"Care to share who that is"nin said looking up at him for a brief moment before going back to tuks hair

"He was a young bull who went rogue killed na'vi and other tulkun"Aonung  breath in for a moment"not her but to the south"

"They say he is a killer"said tisyah who was holding lo'ak arm  nin took a mental note of to ask lo'ak about it later

"Then you can't go near him again"said nin"tuky i'm down go and play"tuk got up and left and nin turn to lo'ak

"If what reya says is true then don't go near him again"

"Yeah lo'ak please don't be an idiot"said neyetam

"You guys aren't listening he is my friend"said lo'ak as she walked off in a huff

"He going to get himself killed one of these days"said nin as neytam and her walk off

"Yeah and we are going to get in trouble for it"

"I'm all ready ground for beating up those boys"

"I was scared you were going to kill them"neytam jokes

"Sylwanin can we talk please"said Aonung as he ran over to them

"Do you want to stay"said neytam

"No it ok if we learnt anything from yesterday's events then we know i can hold my own against idiots"

"OK come back home after you finish not killing him"

Neyetam walked off and nin leaned against a tree waiting for him to speak

"Now i don't have all day what do you want"nin snapped at him

"Ok i'm really sorry for what i did to your brother it was out of line and stupid"

"Thank you think else"

"No should there"

"What about i'm sorry for saying your not apart of your own family"

"Right before i beat you and your friends up"

"But to be fear look at you then look at them"

"Oh shut up i don't have it as  good as you think"

Nin stared at him for a moment then slap him across the face

"You have no idea how good you've got it  it you think i don't hear you complaining about you family"

"What are you talking about you've got a great family"

"I am not biologically related them my mother and father abandon me with them when i was a month old no name they said just a mouth then they would be back they came back 3 years old not even for me for their rightful place in the tribe they were going to take me if my parents didn't let them come back right before me and my family left for here they started to fight  to try and keep me there so shut up and leave me alone"by the time nin finish you little speech she had tears in her eyes

"Sylwanin I'm so sorry"whisper Aonung nin just turned around and left a while later

Aonung was swimming thinking about what Sylwanin had said she had to be excreting right it wasn't that bad how could parents abandon their own child he saw lo'ak sneaking back into the reef he rode over on his liu

"Hey lo'ak can i ask you something"he said

"Sure whats up"

"It's about Sylwanin"

"Is she still making you call her that"

"Yeah still not a fan of me"

"Ok as long as you're not insulting her tell me"

"We got in a bit of a fight and said something about her birth family abandoning her is that um true"

Lo'ak stared at him for a moment then breath in deeply

"What you need to know is that i don't know the whole story just some neytam knows most but won't talk about it all i know is that Row'lan and  l'ipo her parents didn't want her and left her with my parents they came back after a couple of years i was really young i just remember months of fighting then they just started to come around  basking forcing her to call them mum and dad then in the days leading up to leaving they had a hissy fit and wanted her to stay she told them off it was the greatest thing ever"

"Oh shit i screwed up royalty"

"Why what did you say"

"You don't want to know thanks bro i'm going to see if she will ever talk to me again"
"I doubt it she was already mad at you"

"Do you like reya"he shot back wanting to leave the conversation as soon as possible

Aonung road to the beach thinking about lo'ak words he did think he liked Sylwanin he was pissed when she beat him up and his friend he was so embarrassed but she was really pretty kind to always looking after tuk and kiri when lo'ak missing it was first time he saw how scared she could be come he felt so bad causing her so much pain when all she wanted to do is look after her family he was an asshole
