chapter 24 she's gone

The next morning aonung woke up and walked out to see his parents talking row'lan and l'ipo had left late last night after fighting with jake and neytiri

"Morning mom"aonung said

"Morning"

"Yesterday was fun"

"Yeah it was"said ronal

Looking out his the mauri the water was calm everyone was going about their duties usually lo'ak and aonung would be out fishing with Sylwanin he would complain when they would kiss telling them to save his eyes

"You should go and check on her"ronal says

"Yeah I will"said Aonung

Walking up to the sully marui it was quiet

"Aonung"said tuk

"Hi tuk"he says picking her up

Lo'ak looked up and gave him a smile and nodded

"Is Sylwanin here"Aonung questions

"Nope she doing what she always does when she gets to stressed out"said lo'ak

"She doesn't do it every time"said Neytiri offering some food to aonung and taking tuk

"She run off probably somewhere on the island just to think"said jake

"She do this often"

"All the time back in the forest"said kiri

"How long is she usually gone"

"It depends sometimes it's only a couple hours or-"lo'ak stopped

"Once she was gone for 3 weeks"said kiri

"Yeah we were only just starting to get worried but then she turned up"said lo'ak

"Didn't Nin tell us never to tell aonung that"said kiri

"Oh yeah Aonung tell her you figure it out"said lo'ak

"Ok thanks for this I'm going to go now have a good day"Aonung says then walks off he went into the forest knowing Sylwanin well enough that she would be in there somewhere

Walking through the forest Aonung spotted Sylwanin practicing her bow and arrows shooting them against a tree going by the tree he leaned against it

"Hello Beautiful"he says while she is setting up her next arrow

"I don't want to talk"

"Well no were going to talk not going to let you despair for 3 weeks"

"Who told you that"

"Not saying"

"It was lo'ak the snitch"

Aonung walked forward taking the bow from Sylwanin

"Talk to me"

"Is this your way of breaking up with me"

"I would never Sylwanin I love you"

"How can you love me after seeing what i come from"

"Cause you don't come from them really Sylwanin you have said in 30 different ways 30 times that they aren't your family why would I judge you for people you don't believe are your family so they aren't"

"So you still love me even tho you have seen the crazy"

"I would love you if you burnt down the whole village"

The two end up sitting in the forest Aonung has his arms around Sylwanin, kissing her every now and again, whispering reassuring words in her ear. 

The feeling of safety that she had  in his arms made Sylwanin realise her parents had finally let her go 

finally she could be happy
