The day came that they were due to leave. Nin had spent her time with her grandmother and her best friend Moa. They had been friends for ages. They had met at training when they were 7, and instantly clicked. Sylwanins parents tried to convince her to stay but she didn't give them a second thought. After the ceremony to crown the new leader all the kids hug their grandmother one last time. 
"You will do great things my granddaughter" Mo'at whispered while giving Nin a  kiss on the forehead.

"I will miss you greatly grandmother"

As she got her Ikran. Tuk came over wanting to ride with her.

"Nin, please let me" she begged.

"Ok Tuky, come up" said Nin, holding her hand out. Tuk took it and sat in front of her.

They flew in silence, apart from Tuk who was talking all about the ocean, when they hit a storm. Nin tried to shield Tuk from the rain. Hours later tuk woke from a little sleep and looked up to her big sister

"Are we there yet?" She questioned.

"Almost Tuky, just a little longer" as she spoke she moved her shoulder and winced at the pain.

Jake noticed. He had a disappointed look on his face, not at her but himself. Everytime he looked at his daughter, her body seemed to be covered in even more scars. They never seem to bother her, but now because he couldn't protect her. She was going to get more, he was sure of it.

When they arrived on the beaches of the Metkayina, horns blew. Nin looked around and it was beautiful. White sand beaches, clean blue oceans. Nin felt a sense of calm here.
They all landed on the beach, Tuk jumped off, Nin followed, reaching to grab her aunt's bow. Neytam came over to stop her.

"Nin leave it"

"Neytam please"

"Just leave it"

"Fine"

She put the bow back and walked next to her brothers. The metkayina were lighter than them, but with the same hair, just like back home she had never seen another white haired navi. Her bio parents had said Row'lan mother had white hair that she must have inherited.

"Is that supposed to be a tail?" A mocking voice asked.

Those words snapped her out of her thoughts and she turned and saw two metkayina boys around her age laughing at her brothers. They walked around them, coming over to her

"Hello beautiful,"said the taller one. He had his hair in a bun, very tall, and a fit body. Also a really nice face. Wait what? Well.... it wasn't exactly a lie.

"Hello" She said back quickly then looked at the ground.

"Well, are you going to give us a name?" Asked the shorter boy.

"Give me one first" she commanded, giving them a judging look.

"Aonung, and this is Rotxo"

"Lovely" She said in a sarcastic tone.

"You going to give us a name then?"

"I never said I would"

"Nin be nice"said Neytam in English

"Neytam be quiet"

"Both of you quiet" Jake intervened, glancing back at them.

As all the adults talk, Aonung studied Nin. He had learnt that she was definitely lighter-skinned than the rest of her family. Her white hair sat in curls down her back, and she stood like she was ready to fight. Her top was a dark green color, her skirt was dark purple. He would be first to admit she was very pretty, but now he just needed a name. He was snapped out of his thoughts by his father's voice.

"Toruk macto and his family will stay my children Aonung and Tsireya and Tsireya will teach yours"

"But father why me"question Aonung 

"It is decided"

"Come, I will show you our village,"said Tsireya. Aonung rolled his eyes at his little sister he spotted the girl he was talking to before grabbing a bow it was really cool carvings on color fabric feathers and dried flowers

"That's really cool"said Aonung

"Thanks it was my aunts"she said walking off flowing her brothers 

"That boy likes you"said neytam in English (if any part of the story is this font it means it is English)

"Shut up neytam"said nin

"What are you saying"said tuk looking up at  her big siblings 

"Nothing tuk"said nin as she as she picked her little sister up tuk put a hand on nin injury shoulder i wince a bit tuk face was full of sadness

"I'm ok tuky it just a little sore"

"Tuk be gentle nin still hurt"said neytiri

"Are you ok"question Tsireya

"Fine i just injured my shoulder"

"It you want my mother can have a look"

"No no i don't want to be a bother"

"Nin go let her have a look"said jake 

"Come my mother will love you"

As the two walk over to tonowai and ronal tent Tsireya look at all her scars 

"You have a lot of scars"said tsireya 

"I guess i am very accident prone and then there are my brothers"

"Yeah i get that Aonung is terrible"

"Aren't all brothers tho"

"Yeah i guess they are"said Tsireya with giggle

"Do you need something my daughter"said ronal looking up at the two girls

"Mother she is hurt can you help"

"Of course sit child"said ronal sigling her to sit as she sat down in front of ronal .

Ronal took the wrap on her shoulder the built hole had been clean by her grandmother and she put so herbs on as Ronal fix it up tonowair and aonung enter

"You are very brave child"

"Thank you 

"Your scars show that"

"My grandmother used to say the same i guess all those hours of training played off"

"Nin nin are you ok said tuk as ran in and jumped on her sister 

"Tuk i'm fine"

"But mum said that the sky people could of killed you i don't want you to die"

"Tuk i'm not going to die i promise now go and make sure lo'ak has done anything stupid"

"No i don't want to leave you"

"It's ok she can stay i'm almost done"said ronal as tuk nuzzled in to nin shoulder 

"I am finished you can go just be careful"

"Thank you ronal come on tuk"said nin as she got up and held tuks hand

As the two girls walk out nin stops at the door and turns around 

"Thank you for everything"

Ronal nodded at her and she walked out over to her family's hut
