Luz the Karate Kid

Chapter 1

    Alright take care Camila. Bye!" A light pale skin woman and green eyes wearing blue scrums waved at a car with a Dominican-American woman with tan skin and a medium body frame wearing red glasses and curly brown hair wearing a flannel rolled up and black shirt , jeans and boots. "Bye Layla, thank you for everything." Camila said. "Alright ready to go mija?" Camila said to the other person seated next to her. "Si mama." A mysterious voice said. "Okay let's go." Then she drove leaving their home state and moving to their new home which was out of state.

    1 week goes by and Camila and her daughter arrive in Boonesborough, California. They then pulled up to their new house which was in a suburban neighborhood. "Okay here we are Luz." Camila said getting out of the car to reveal a 16 year old girl with short hair and light brown skin with brown eyes wearing a purple striped t-shirt and green sweatpants and red shoes getting out to help her mom. "Here mama let me help you." Luz said starting to get boxes and helping her mom unpack. "Thank you Luz, what would I do without you." Camila said.

    Luz and Camilla kept on unloading as they were almost finished Luz went back outside to get the rest while Camila was starting to unpack just as Luz started getting her stuff she saw two people approaching her. It was a 16 year old girl with light skin,olive green eyes, and short, neat, dark twin pigtails and has a few pale green streaks dyed into it wearing a green dress with a dark brown belt on her waist, a tannish-gray jacket, pumpkin orange tights and black flat shoes, boy who looked 14 years old with brown skin and dark brown hair with lighter shades wearing a red shirt,navy blue shorts and gray shoes.

     "Hey I'm Willow Park and this is my friend Gus Porter. I don't think we've ever seen you before, are you new?" Willow said. "Yeah me and my mom just moved here from Connecticut for my moms vet job,I'm Luz Noceda." Luz said putting the stuff down and sticking her hand out for them to shake which they did. "Anyways I gotta keep loading these things , nice meeting you two." Luz said getting the stuff. "Oh what if we helped. Consider it a welcome gift." Gus said.

     "Oh that won't be necessary besides I don't want to intrude on what you're gonna be doing." Luz said. "We insist plus gives us time to kill for later." Willow said. "Oh well that's thoughtful guys thank you." Luz said taking the things inside her home while Gus and Willow started helping to unload. "Hey mom where do I put these things?" Luz said. "That's your stuff so it'll be in your room." Camila said. "Where is my room?" Luz asked. "Turn left down the hall second door,"Camila said.

     "Okay oh and two other people named Willow and Gus decided to help us unpack." Luz said heading to the direction of the room. "Oh well that's very nice of them I outta make us some drinks then. How about lemonade?" Camila said. "Yeah that sounds fun." Luz shouted from her room. Just then Willow and Gus came in holding stuff. "Where do we put this stuff Ms.Noceda." Gus asked.

     "Oh please call me Camila and those are Luz's stuff so put them in her room." Camila said, pointing to the room Luz was at. Willow and Gus then walked to the room to see Luz was starting to unpack. "Oh thanks guys, didn't expect the last things to be my stuff." Luz said, getting up. "It's fine. Anyways, since a week from now school is gonna start again and usually us high schoolers host a bonfire at the beach and have fun." Gus said. "Really sounds fun." Luz said. "It is anyways we were wondering if you want to join us and another friend tonight at the beach." Willow said. "Yeah I'll be able to join you guys. I just have to ask my mom." Luz said.

    Just then Camila came into her room holding lemonades. "Here kids, thanks for the help." Luz's mother said, handing Luz,Gus and Willow the lemonades. "It's no problem Camila." Willow said, taking a sip. "Mama, can I go to the beach with Willow and Gus?" Luz asked. "Sure you can mija as long as you help me unload a couple of things." Camila said. "Okay, I will do that right now." Luz said, taking a drink of lemonade and leaving it half full." Before getting up and helping to finish the unloading with Gus and Willow following behind.
