Luz the Karate Kid

Chapter 4

     It was now October and Luz and her friends started talking about Halloween since it was on its way and also since the school was gonna throw a Halloween party and since Amity was in the planning committee she,Luz,Gus and Willow started helping decorate the school gymnasium for tonight. "Okay now just lift the banner higher and that should do it." Amity told Luz and Willow as they were hanging the banner.

"Thanks Luz and Willow. Let's go check on Gus and see if he's done with the playlist." Amity said as they made there way to the dj equipment and Gus was using a laptop. "How's it going Mr DJ." Luz said as she saw Gus working hard. "Everything's going good I just finished the playlist and even added some slow dancing music for the lovebirds." Gus said, sending Amity a knowing look causing Amity to blush.

"Awesome Gus so now that's out of the way we can all answer the final question: what is everyone gonna be going as? Willow said. "I'm going as captain Avery from my favorite book cosmic frontier." Gus said. "I'll be going as a vampire." Willow said "And I'm going as Hecate from the Good Witch Azura book." Amity said shyly.

"Ain't that a coincidence Amity cause I'm going as Azura. Looks like we'll be doing a couple costumes." Luz said, causing Amity to blush. "Anyways we meet back here later around 6." Willow said as she started getting her backpack and walking with Luz,Gus and Amity out of the gym and towards the exit of school.

"See yah guys." Amity said as her dad was here for her while Luz,Gus and Willow walked. "Okay guys meet yah at the party." Luz said as she reached her stop. "Later Luz." Gus said. As Luz entered her house Gus and Willow then thought of a plan. "We're totally gonna have Luz and Amity slow dance together right?" Gus asked. "Pssh yeah." Willow stated the obvious.

Hours go by and it was finally time for the party. Luz, and Gus were waiting for Willow outside her house because she took awhile trying to find the teeth for her costume. "Phew, found it guys come on let's go." Willow said, starting to walk in the direction of the school dance. Luz,Gus and Willow walked alongside each other talking to one another.

Luz,Gus and Willow reached the dance and saw amity in her Hecate costume causing Luz to blush. "Hey guys, nice costumes." Amity said. "Thanks amity, your costume looks beaut- amazing." Luz said stuttering turning red causing Amity to blush."Anyways shall we enter." Gus said as he started to enter the gym. "Let's go."Luz said as she grabbed Amity's hand with Willow following behind.

They then entered the gym to see it was pack with people and the gym had a dark purple lighting. "Let's go party." Gus said as he dragged Willow to dance with him and Luz dragged Amity to dance near them. Both Luz and Amity were dancing around letting loose and having fun just the two of them. "Hey Luz,Amity, come in, we're gonna be getting drinks and snacks." Gus said as he and Willow started heading to the snack bar.

As they reached the snack table Luz and Gus started going to town on the snacks and stuffing their face. "Man these cookies are delicious." Gus said taking a bite of a big cookie. "Hah I'm pretty sure their store brought cookies." Amity said. Luz then took a bite in a cupcake causing frosting to be on her cheek near her lip. Willow noticed and wiped Luz's cheek that had the frosting. "Thanks Willow." Luz said face stuff.

Just then someone yelled her name "LUZ!!" Hunter yelled. Luz looked to see an angry Hunter who was dressed as a zombie as well as Daniel and his group. He then grabbed Luz by the collar of her costume and got his fist ready. "STAY AWAY FROM WILLOW." Hunter yelled about to punch Luz until something liquid fell on Hunter.

Luz looked to see Amity holding a bowl of punch in her hand, Hunter's grip loosened and soon Willow and Gus pushed Hunter causing him to lose balance and fall on the snack table snacks covering him. "RUN LUZ GO RUN!!"Amity yelled to Luz who took it as an opportunity to actually run, Hunter got up and followed with his friends following. Luz left the gym not heading home since that's where they'll go but ran to town square she ran passing Eda's diner.

Just then Luz got tackled to the ground by a boy with dark brown spiky hair who was also wearing the zombie costume. "Nice job Jacob. Dale grab her, " Hunter said. Jacob and another boy with black slicked back hair with the zombie costume held Luz up her wig and hat falling. "Oh I'm gonna enjoy this." Hunter said as he punched Luz hard in the stomach causing her to double down in pain. Jacob and Dale let her go and soon all five of them started teaming on her.

Just then Daniel grabbed her. "FINISH HER!" Daniel said. "The hells the matter with you Hunter you're gonna kill her." Matthew a boy with a blonde perm trying to stop Hunter. "She deserves this remember what sensei said THE ENEMY DESERVES NO MERCY!" Hunter yelled and was about to punch her again Luz flinched and waited for the impact until she felt nothing. She looked to see Eda grabbing hunters hand and pushing it away and she soon kicked him away. Just then Jacob tried to sweep the leg but Eda caught his leg and turned it over and hit the knee part causing Jacob to go down in pain and make matters worse Eda punched him.

Matthew then went for the punch but Eda caught it and hit his elbow then the ribs causing Mathew to groan in pain and got punched in the stomach. Daniel then tried to sneak behind and choke her until she hit his side and twisted his arm causing a bone to crack to be heard leading to Daniel screaming Eda then hit the knee and push Daniel toward the ground.

Dale tried to kick her but she punched him in the stomach and karate chopped his neck leading to him fall. Hunter once again tried to attack her until Eda side stepped him and hit him in the back before kicking him across the face. Luz saw all this but her eyes slowly started feeling heavy the last thing she heard was "Geez kiddo let's get you patched up." from Eda before darkness consumed her.
