Saturday 15:20- Inessa
After what happened earlier Inessa decided to freshen up and get dressed, she stayed in her room to avoid any more problems. She was enjoying the silence until her phone linked revealing a message from Vincent.
-text conversation-
Vincent: Hey, Inessa, I heard about the fight. Are you okay?
Inessa doesn't reply.
Vincent: Inessa, I know you read my message. You need to reply.
Inessa: I'm okay. You don't need to worry about me. But you might want to worry about your little girlfriend Viola.
Vincent: Viola isn't my girlfriend. She's just someone I know.
Inessa: Oh really? Well, that's not what she thinks.
Vincent: What are you talking about?
Inessa: Nevermind. I have an answer to your request about me being your wife.
Vincent: What's your answer?
Inessa: You'll have to wait until you come back from your business trip.
With that, Inessa shut her phone and laid back, closing her eyes. She tried to push all thoughts of Vincent and his mysterious business out of her mind and focus on the present moment. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to relax.
But even as she tried to clear her mind, her thoughts kept wandering back to Vincent. She couldn't help but wonder what he was up to, and why he seemed so secretive. She wondered if he was involved in something dangerous and if she was in danger as well.
As the hours passed, Inessa felt more and more restless. She tried to distract herself by reading, but she couldn't focus on the words on the page. She kept checking her phone, hoping for a message from Vincent, but there was nothing.
Finally, as the sun began to set, Inessa decided to take a walk. She put on her jacket and headed out into the cool evening air. As she walked, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. The stars were out, and the moon was shining brightly in the sky.
But even as she enjoyed the beauty of the night, Inessa couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She kept glancing over her shoulder, expecting to see someone following her. She felt like she was being watched, and she didn't know why.
As she turned a corner, she saw a figure standing in the shadows. Her heart skipped a beat as she realized that it was Vincent. He stepped out of the darkness and approached her, a serious look on his face.
"Inessa," he said, his voice low. "We need to talk."
Inessa felt a knot form in her stomach. She knew that this conversation was going to be important, and she didn't know what to expect. But she nodded, steeling herself for whatever was to come.
