THE WEDDING DAY
Inessa woke up early on the morning of her wedding day, feeling jittery and nervous. She couldn't believe that the day had finally arrived. She was getting married to Vincent.
She got dressed and headed over to her parent's house, where Mira, Zariah, Zariah's mom, her mom, her aunts, and her nieces were waiting to help her get ready for the big day. They greeted her with hugs and smiles, and Inessa felt grateful to have such supportive and loving people in her life.
Inessa sat down in front of a mirror as her aunts and nieces started working on her hair and makeup. She watched as they skillfully transformed her into a beautiful bride. She felt herself becoming more and more nervous as the time for the wedding approached.
Zariah's mom noticed Inessa's anxiety and approached her. "Would you like me to pray for you, dear?" she asked.
Inessa nodded, grateful for the offer. She closed her eyes as Zariah's mom began to pray for her. As she listened to the soothing words, she felt a sense of peace and calm wash over her.
After the prayer, Inessa felt ready to face the day. However, her nieces Kirza and Nizra came to her with some annoying stories about a bride who was killed at her own wedding. Inessa's nerves started to creep back up, but Zariah quickly put a stop to the stories and sent the girls off to play.
Zariah then gave Inessa the most powerful pep talk she had ever received. She reminded Inessa of how strong and capable she was, and how much Vincent loved her. Inessa felt her confidence and strength returning, and she thanked Zariah for her support.
As the time for the wedding approached, Inessa felt nervous but excited. She was ready to marry the man she had to spend her old years with, surrounded by the people she loved. With the help of her friends and family, she knew that she could face anything that came her way.
Inessa's father took her arm and walked her down the aisle, and as they walked, he whispered to her how proud he was of her and how much he loved her. Tears welled up in Inessa's eyes as she looked up at him, grateful for his words of encouragement.
As they reached the altar, Vincent turned to look at her, and Inessa could see the love in his eyes. All of the nerves and doubts she had been feeling before melted away as she realized how much she loved this man.
Vincent began to speak his vows, and Inessa listened intently, tears streaming down her face as he spoke of his love and devotion to her. When it was her turn, she took a deep breath and began to speak from her heart.
"Vincent, when we first met, I never thought that we would end up here, getting married in front of all our loved ones," Inessa said, her voice shaking slightly with emotion. "But now that I am standing here, looking into your eyes, I realize that I have never been happier than I am at this moment. I promise to love you, support you, and be your partner in all things, for as long as we both shall live."
As she finished speaking, Vincent reached out to take her hand, and the two of them exchanged rings. The crowd erupted in cheers as the newlyweds shared their first kiss, and Inessa felt a sense of contentment and joy wash over her.
As they walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, Inessa couldn't help but feel grateful for all the people who had supported her on this journey. Her family, her friends, and even some of her classmates who had come to see her get married.
As they made their way to the reception, Inessa felt a sense of relief wash over her. This may be a fake marriage, but in this moment, all she cared about was Vincent and the love that they shared. Vincent pulled Inessa aside and looked at her with a serious expression. "Inessa, there's something I need to tell you," he said.
Inessa felt a lump form in her throat as she waited for him to speak. What could he possibly have to say to her now?
"I know this marriage was supposed to be fake, but I can't do it anymore. I can't pretend that my feelings for you aren't real," Vincent said, taking her hand.
Inessa's heart skipped a beat as she looked up into his eyes. "Vincent, what are you saying?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I'm saying that I love you, Inessa. I really love you, and I don't want this to be fake anymore. I want you to be my real wife, to share my life and my love with you," Vincent said, his eyes never leaving hers.
Inessa felt tears welling up in her eyes as she listened to Vincent's confession. She had always known that she loved him, but she never dared to hope that he felt the same way.
"Vincent, I love you too," she said, her voice shaking with emotion. "I never thought that you would feel the same way."
"I do, Inessa. I really do," Vincent said, pulling her into a tight embrace.
Inessa felt like her heart was about to burst with happiness as she hugged Vincent back. She had never felt this loved and cherished before, and she knew at that moment that she was exactly where she was meant to be.
As they pulled away from each other, Vincent took Inessa's hand and smiled at her. "Let's go celebrate our wedding, Mrs. Valentino," he said, using her newly acquired last name.
Inessa grinned back at him, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. "I would like that, Mr. Valentino," she said, feeling like she had finally found her true love.
They returned to the reception, and everyone cheered as they cut the cake together. They had a dance battle with the girls and played some games. It was such a fun night.
Then, it was time for their first dance as a married couple. As they swayed to the music, Inessa felt so content. This was what she wanted. She was with the person she loved, surrounded by people who loved and supported them.
Jack even came up to her and apologized for being annoying. He was genuinely happy for her and Vincent, and Inessa forgave him.
Elijah held a comedy show that had everyone laughing. Zariah then revealed that she was in love with Treyvon, and Inessa was thrilled for her. Megan also apologized for her behavior and wished them the best.
It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Inessa couldn't wait to start her life with Vincent as his real wife.
