Wednesday night 23:00- Inessa

Inessa felt her face heat up as she tightened the towel around her body. She had just gotten out of the shower and was in the process of getting ready when Vincent barged into her room without warning.

"What the hell, Vincent?!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with annoyance and anger. "You can't just barge into my room like that!"

Vincent turned around, his face reddening with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, Inessa," he said, his voice apologetic. "I didn't mean to intrude on your privacy. I just wanted to check on you and see if you needed any help getting ready."

Inessa sighed, her anger dissipating slightly. She knew Vincent meant well, but he could be so oblivious at times. "It's fine," she said, her voice softening. "But you really should knock before entering someone's room. I could have been changing."

Vincent nodded, his eyes downcast. "You're right, I'm sorry," he said. "I'll make sure to knock next time."

Inessa nodded, her annoyance fading away completely. She knew Vincent didn't mean to upset her, and she didn't want to hold a grudge. "It's okay," she said, a small smile forming on her lips. "Now, if you don't mind, can you please give me some privacy so I can finish getting ready?"

Vincent nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "Of course, I'll be waiting for you downstairs when you're ready," he said before turning to leave.

As he left the room, Inessa let out a small chuckle. She finished getting ready and made her way downstairs to join him, feeling grateful for his presence in her life.

(after dinner)

Inessa couldn't believe what she just heard. Vincent's father had decided that they had to get married in two weeks! Two weeks! She was still processing the idea of being engaged to Vincent, and now they had to get married so soon. It felt overwhelming.

As she was lost in her thoughts, she heard Vincent's voice again. "And Elijah is being so annoying lately. He doesn't listen to me and pisses me off. I can't deal with his behavior."

Inessa turned to look at Elijah, who was sitting on the couch with his arms crossed, looking away from Vincent. She could understand why Vincent was frustrated, but she also knew that Elijah was just trying to get attention from his older brother.

Treyvon spoke up, "Maybe you should talk to him and try to understand why he's behaving that way. It might be helpful to figure out what's bothering him."

Vincent nodded, "Yeah, you're right. I'll try to talk to him and see what's going on."

Inessa was impressed with Treyvon's calm and rational approach to the situation. She could see why Vincent valued his input so much. It made her feel more comfortable knowing that they had someone like Treyvon to help them navigate through these difficult times.

As they continued to talk, Inessa couldn't help but feel a sense of dread about the upcoming wedding. She was excited to be with Vincent, but the pressure of everything happening so fast was overwhelming. She knew that she had to trust Vincent and his family, but the idea of marrying someone she barely knew was scary.

But for now, she pushed those thoughts aside and focused on being there for Vincent and helping him with his family issues. They were in this together, and she was determined to support him every step of the way.

Wednesday night 2:43- Vincent

We were all gathered in the living room, lounging on the couches and beanbags, deciding on what movie to watch. It was already late and we were all tired, but we wanted to do something together. Inessa was in the kitchen, getting snacks for us as we discussed our options.

As we were talking, Elijah suddenly disappeared from the room. We didn't think much of it until we heard Inessa scream in shock. We all turned to see Elijah standing in the doorway, trying to scare her. Treyvon and I scolded him, telling him not to do it, but he didn't listen.

After that, Elijah and Mira got into a heated argument about the last chip. Mira claimed that she had touched it first, but Elijah insisted that he saw it first. The argument escalated quickly, with Mira slapping Elijah and him scolding her out in Spanish. We all laughed, finding their argument amusing.

But then Elijah tripped and fell, making everybody laugh even harder. He ran to the bathroom, yelling that it wasn't funny. That's when Inessa got an idea.

She waited until Elijah came out of the bathroom, and then she jumped out and scared him even harder than he scared her. He ran to me, hiding in the corner and yelling for help.

We all burst out laughing, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these. Even with all the stress and drama that comes with our situation, we can still come together and have fun.

"Karma," Inessa said with a smirk, and we all laughed again. It was a simple moment, but it was a reminder that we are still just young adults trying to navigate our way through life.

(...)

Vincent sighed, knowing this was going to be a long night. Elijah had a habit of picking fights with Inessa, and it never ended well for him. But he never seemed to learn his lesson. Mira was thoroughly enjoying the show, as usual, and he couldn't help but roll my eyes at her.

"Guys, come on, let's just go to bed," He said, trying to diffuse the situation. But Inessa was having none of it.

"No, he needs to learn his lesson," she said, pointing her shoe at Elijah.

"Eli, just apologize, and let's end this," Treyvon chimed in, trying to be the voice of reason.

But Elijah was too stubborn for that. "I'm not apologizing to her, she's the one who's annoying," he shot back, a smirk on his face.

That was it. Inessa charged at him with her shoe, and soon the room was filled with the sound of her hitting him with it. Mira was laughing so hard she had tears streaming down her face, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of it all.

Finally, Inessa stopped and pointed her shoe at Elijah one last time. "You're lucky I don't have my heels on," she warned, before storming off to her room.

We all stood there in silence for a moment, before Treyvon spoke up. "I think it's time for us to go to bed," he said, and we all nodded in agreement.

As we headed to our rooms, he couldn't help but shake his head at the antics of his brother. But he also couldn't help feeling grateful for them. Even though they drove me crazy at times, he loved them all more than anything.

He knew that they were all going to have to deal with each other's quirks and annoyances, but that was just a part of being a family. And despite their differences, they always managed to come together and have a good time.

As he crawled into bed, he couldn't help but smile at the memory of Inessa hitting Elijah with her shoe. It was moments like that that made him feel like they were all going to be okay, no matter what life threw at them.

He closed his eyes and let out a contented sigh. Yes, it was definitely going to be a long night, but he wouldn't have it any other way.
