Anastasia's POV
"So, how's your test? did you get the highest score?" father asked, we are eating dinner at home with mother beside him. I just bowed my head and played with my fingers.
"hindi po, i got 5 mistakes..." almost a whisper, i said. "Sino nakahighest score?" he asked full of authority and disappointment.
"si Xaven, he got perfect po..." i said with a gulp, in a second i heard him cursed and slammed his hand into the table, causing to echo the whole dinning area.
"You didn't even tried your best! how could he even beat you if you studied hard?! such a disappointed. Ano nalang sasabihin nila?! na nalamangan ng anak ng kaibigan ko ang anak ko?! ganun ba?!" he shouted. Right. Always the disappointment. It's always the other people's opinions than mine. How cruel.
"Sorry po..." always the one who will apologize, na parang sinadya kong magpatalo, i did tried my best, but i guess it was not enough.
"Hey... that's enough, nasa hapag tayo, both of you stop it. Anastasia, go to your room, ipapadala ko nalang pagkain mo dun. And congratulations." mommy said in a stern voice, as i rose from my seat and headed to my room.
Lumapit si Manang Elle "congrats, hayaan mo na daddy mo, stress lang siguro sa companya" she said softly and dumeretso naman ako sa kwarto, locked my self na parang bago saakin ang lahat.
Daddy wasn't like this dati, he was sweet and caring, not until that asshole's father brainwashed him, and brag his good of a son about his achievements. Causing father's jealousy to increase and forced me to compete with that asshole, to prove that i can surpass that asshole's achievements.
And that asshole enjoy's seeing me losing, fuck you Xaven, fuck you till hell.
