Chapter 16

Anastasia's POV
    
                 "P-po?" Nagulat ako sa biglang tanong ni ate.

"May napapansin kabang weird actions ni dad?" she asked again.

Should I tell her about sa nakita ko sa mall? She's my sister and I think she needs to know besides I trust her.

"O-opo."

"Kailan? Saan? Ano?" sunod-sunod na tanong niya.

I just told her about sa nakita ko sa mall she was listening carefully and keeps on nodding na para bang malaking impormasyon ang sinasabi ko.

"Thank you for telling me this, ako ng bahala dito, and don't worry nor keep on thinking about what you saw." ginulo niya buhok ko and handed me a paper bag.

Nanlaki ang mata ko ng sinabi niyang galing ito kay Xaven at pinabibigay daw saakin. She looked at me teasingly and I jus rolled my eyes at her, she chuckled.

We both agreed to keep this to mom, tungkol sa aking nakita ng nakaraan.

Before she left she kissed me on my cheek and congratulated me again.

I opened the paper bag at nanlaki ang aking mata sa aking nakita.

A music box.

It was a small pink and white music box. When I opened it there was a cute ballerina in a pink fit. And a mirror inside and was attached at the lid.

The ballerina was standing at the middle of the box with flowers surrounding it. It was so pretty!

It played a heavenly lullaby. It was so melodic at ang sarap sa tenga. I could listen to it all day!

There was also a note,

         'Hope you liked my gift for you. Congratulations Anastasia, I am proud of  you'

My cheeks turned red.

The lullaby was so good that I listened to it all night that drove me into a deep slumber.

Kinabukasan I was humming my way to school. Maganda ang araw ko today!

I am planning to return Xaven's hair tie. Yung ginamit niyang pantali sa buhok ko during our research sa library.

When I entered the room I roamed my eyes around and landed on his chair. Nandun siya habang nagcecellphone.

Agad akong lumapit sa kanya kaya nag-angat siya ng tingin.

Mukha siyang nagulat sa aking presensya pero maayos siyang umupo at pinagcross ang kanyang braso habang tinitignan ako ng mariin.

I handed him the hair tie at tinignan niya lang yun puno ng pagtataka.

"Your hair tie. Ibabalik ko na." he was hesitant but kinuha padin.

Sumandal ulit siya sa upuan niya at tinignan ako na parang may inaantay na sasabihin ko.

Ah yung gift!

"About pala sa gift... thank you. Nagustuhan ko, sobra." I smiled at him.

"Glad to know, always my pleasure." he returned a smile and looked at me with adoration.

Bigla akong napalunok dun kaya agad akong umalis sa pwesto niya at umupo sa upuan ko.

I can feel the teasing stares from my other classmates pero natigil agad ng dumating yung teacher.

Pagkatapos ng morning class, I was packing my things when Xaven walked up to me.

"Anastasia." he called my attention kaya nilingon ko siya.

"Ahm, may pupuntahan ako mamaya lugar gusto mo bang sumama?" he asked.

Will it be a date?

Napa isip ako, wala naman akong gagawin mamaya kaya agad akong tumango sa kanya.

He turned his back and I heard him whispered 'yes!' sabay suntok sa hangin.

We drove over 30 minutes bago
bumama sa kotse niya at tinignan ang lugar.

The sky was getting darker as the sunlight was being eaten by darkness. I can already see the stars and the full moon. Pretty.

Xaven guided me towards the place kung saan yung sinasabi niya.

My mouth parted in awe when I saw the place. It was a cliff and below us we're city lights! It's so pretty!!!

It looked like stars but so many na nagtitipon tipon. Ang ganda... sobra.

I was admiring the beautiful view when Xaven towered me at the back.

"Anastasia." he called and I turned to him.

"Hmm?"

"May sasabihin ako," halata yung kaba sa boses niya.

Pati tuloy ako kinakabahan.

"Kasi... ano..."

"Kasi?" I confusedly looked at him and his ears we're red!

Cute.

Napahilamos siya at mabigat na napabuntong hininga bago muli akong hinarap.

"Gusto kita." pag amin niya.

Biglang napatigil ang aking paghinga. Ano?

He bit his lips and looked away habag namumula ang kanyang buong mukha.

The moonlight was reflecting on his face and I can see how it gets redder.

I can't believe it. He liked me!!

Bahagya kong kinagat ang aking labi upang pigilan ang impit na tili at ngiti. Pero nagulat ako nang muli niya akong hinarap.

"It's okay, you don't have to force yourself to like me back. I just wanna show you how much i love you and your existence, so would you please allow me to do it?" he asked me pleadingly.

And I just nodded.

He smiled and hugged me tightly and I giggled in delight.

Under the full moon, witnessed by the thousands of stars in the sky, he finally confessed his love for me.
