Chapter 15

Anastasia's POV
           
                 "Does Tiffany knows about this?" nagtatakang tanong ni Amaris.

"Hindi ata? Hindi ako sure," Iraia.

"Do you think tito was cheating on tita Clarisse?" Athalia.

"Baka business partner lang at coincidence na nagkita sa loob ng store?" Amaris.

"Impossible, you could see in tito's eyes the adoration and love. And Tiffany's mom was smiling like a teenager. They we're surrounded by love." Athalia insisted.

"So ibig sabihin nagchecheat talaga siya?!" Amaris.

"Tito could never do that, tignan mo nalang kung paano nila nalagpasan yung mga pagsubok para lamang ipaglaban ang kanilang pagmamahalan!" angal ni Iraia.

"But people change, Iraia." madiin na tugon ni Athalia.

Lahat kami napatahimik dun. I didn't talk, my mind was still processing about what I saw kanina. Could it possibly be?

We all agreed to keep this between ourselves about what we saw kanina, and decided to not tell Tiffany not until we've proven kung ano yung nangyari.

We are worried na baka magulat si Tiffany and we never know kung ano magagawa niya.

Agad kami naghiwahiwalay ng dumating na ang mga sundo namin and bid our goodbye's.

Kinabukasan was the announcement about sa scores ng exam. It is posted on the hallways bulletin board each stand building.

I hurriedly looked at the paper that is posted on the board. I jumped on delight when I saw my name on the top!

Javez, Anastasia Delancy........ 99.8

Allejo, Xaven Vior.......... 99.7

I heard applause from everyone saying 'congatulations' and I congratulate them back with a smile.

I saw Xaven smiling at me at the back and it made my heart beat loudly.

He walked towards me at yung mga students ay biglang tumabi upang makadaan siya. He was walking with his hands tucked up inside his pockets and not breaking his eye contact with me.

A smirk was plastered on his handsome face. He then towered over me and bend a little so that he can see my face better.

"Congratulations," he simply answered with a smile but made my heart beat so fcking loud. I hope he can't hear those.

As his amber orbs was starting at me and I smiled back at him.

"Congrats din," I whispered pero sakto lang upang marinig niya ng hindi inaalis ang tingin sa kanya.

"Ayiiiee couple goals yarn?!"
"Lalayag na ang VenSia!!"
"Sanaol nalang,"
"Bagay talaga sila!"

My cheeks flushed when I heard their teasing at nagiwas ng tingin sa kanya.

He chuckled at umayos ng tayo.

"Cute,"

I don't know if it was him who called me cute or my teasing classmates pero ginulo niya yung buhok ko ng bahagya bago umalis.

I watched his back until it disappeared on my sight.

Agad kong tinakbo ang building nila Iraia since yun ang mas malapit pero nagulat ako ng nandun na din sila Tiffany, Athalia, at Amaris.

Nang makita nila ako agad din silang tumakbo papalapit saakin.

"Omg pang ilan ka!?" Amaris excitedly sequeled.

"Sabay-sabay nating sabihin!" suhestion ni Iraia and we all agreed.

"TOP 1!!!" Nanlaki mga mata namin ng marinig ang aming sigaw.

Agad kaming tumili at niyakap ang isa't isa and jumped around with joy. We greeted each other congratulations and decided to eat at the food court for the celebration.

When I arrived at home mommy and daddy heard the news and decided to eat dinner together as a celebration for the test results.Ate Astrid even insisted na pumunta.

While eating we started to talk about life updates and business.

I've also heard that ate Astrid has a suitor. Mommy and I kept on teasing her and it made her blush.

She switched the topic when she announced that the company gained more investors at unti unting lumalaki yung pangalan ng companya sa ibang bansa.

We all cheered sa sabay-sabay na magagandang pangyayari.

I was just shocked when dad didn't even said a word about the good news at hindi din nawala sa aking paningin  ang paghigpit ng kanyang paghawak na kutsara.

I oddly looked at ate na nasa tabi ko and I guess she also saw what I see.

Napabaling ako pabalik kay dad ng tumikhim siya.

"Anastasia." he called.

"Congrats, you beated again sa top list si Allejo. Keep up the good work." he said and it made my eyes twinkle.

"Thank you po dad, I'll do my best po!" I cheerfully answered. Finally.

The words I've been longing to be heard. Now that I finally gain dad's attention, I'll keep doing so.

I glanced at mom na nasa tabi ni dad at siyang kaharap ko. She nodded and smile at me na para bang sinasabi na 'sabi sayo eh, babalik ang sa dati ang dad mo.'

After dinner agad akong pumunta sa kwarto pero agad ding nagulat ng biglang pumasok si ate Astrid.

She make sure na walang nakasunod sa kanya at nilock ang pinto. Hinarap niya ako habang nakatingin ng seryoso.

"Anastasia, tell me may napapansin ka din bang kakaiba kay dad?"
