Chapter 32

Anastasia's POV

               Mabilis na ibinagsak ni Iraia ang bag sa harapan mismo ng head principal.

Shock was written in her face when she saw a big black bag in her table.

"1 million dollars. Make sure to kick out from this school si Thomas Daiz, at siguraduhin nyo na walang kahit ni isang trabaho ang tatanggap sa kaniya kahit saan, kahit pa sa ibang bansa." Iraia sternly said.

Agad na tumango ang principal ng makita ang laman ng black na bag.

"Sure," she happily said.

Humarap saamin si Iraia at ngumisi sabay thumbs up. Nagkatinginan kani nila Athalia at Amaris bago tumawa ng mahina.

Umalis agad kami at pumunta sa round table.

"Naupload mo na ba Amaris yung video?" tanong ko.

"Yup, I was shocked when within a minute, thousands of people from this school at sa labas already saw and shared the video. It even went viral on all social media platform!" she said in disbelief.

The video was consist of Thomas confession and the other one was the footage kung saan sinasabunutan siya ng asawa niya dito sa faculty. There we're also photos and evidences about sa pamblablackmail niya.

Luckily after the video went viral, all the students here apologized to me due to their act and judgement. I just let them, they should learn their lesson from now on.

To not judge people without hearing their side.

"I also got the information na pinalayas na ni Heartily si Thomas at kinuha ang lahat ng pera sa isang bank account niya. The victims thanked us for helping them justify their side." Athalia informed us.

"Our lawyer informed us too na Thomas was sent to jail and was sentenced for a lifetime imprisonment. Luckily all of the victims witness their side. And the evidences was enough to sent him to jail." I told them.

"My guards told me na medj napalala daw pambubugbog nila at sinabi ko nalang na 'okay lang yun', besides he deserved it anyway," Amaris rolled her eyes.

"I even begged dad if I can have 1 million dollars and he asked if aanhin ko daw yun tas sabi ko may gagastusin lang, buti nalang pumayag siya agad," ani ni Iraia.

"See! Andami niyong pera tas yung 50 na utang mo saakin hindi mo pa nababayaran!" sabi ni Amaris.

"Hoy! binigyan na kita 'no! 50 sentimo!" sigaw ni Iraia.

Mabilis siyang hinagisan ng kumpol na papel ni Amaris, mabuti nalang at nakailag agad si Iraia sabay tawa.

"How about Heartily?" I asked.

"Umuwi daw papuntang probinsya. Gusto daw muna magrelax sa kaguluhan ng asawa niya. She also filed annulment to Thomas at mabilis na na processo yun." sabi ni Athalia.

"How about Tiffany?" Iraia asked.

"I can't trace her, somehow nakaturn off ang phone niya," Athalia.

"I can't still believe she betrayed us... I thought we are snake free, yun pala may nakatago lang sa ilalim ng mabait na personalidad," Amaris.

At mabilis kaming napatango dun.

Silence surrounded us.

"Thank you..." I told them after the long silence.

"For?" Iraia asked.

"For everything. For helping me close the spreading rumors, and getting revenge on Thomas, thank you for that, for being my best friends," naiiyak na sabi ko.

Nagulat ako ng bigla nila akong niyakap ng mahigpit. It felt warmth, it felt home.

"Palagi kaming nasa tabi mo, Anastasia. That's what friends are for duh! Through thick and thin nasa likod mo lang kami. Palagi at pangako 'yan." ani ni Athalia.

Surprisingly everything went back to normal, as if nothing happens in the past few weeks. Everything is in peace now.

"Can i take you on a date?" Xaven randomly asked me.

"Of course! Why would you asked permission though? Alam mo naman na I like our dates," I sweetly smiled at him.

I saw his ears turned red. I chuckled.

"Wala lang, baka kasi busy ka or may iniisip. I don't wanna disturb you from your priorities," aniya.

"You will always be my priority," I told him. At mas lalong namula ang kanyang tenga! He's so cute.

"Here," sabay abot niya saakin ng isang box. I opened it at nagulat ako nang makita ang laman...

Paper rings.

Kinuha niya saakin ang box at siya mismo ang naglagay ng paper ring sa ring finger ko.

He kissed the back of my hand after he finished putting the ring.

"Ito lang muna, my love... next time totoong singsing na," he softly told me.

"Thank you...I love it and I love you," sabi ko at niyakap siya. Mabilis niyang ginantihan ang yakap ko at hinalikan ang buhok ko.

"I love you too," he responded.

He offered to carry my pink bag and I just let him. I was busy admiring the paper ring he gave me.

It's so cute! I am wearing the pink heart one and his was the blue heart one.

The box was filled with many paper rings with different design and shades of pink.

We decided na sa food court nalang kami magdate since dun ang paborito niya.

As usual we ordered our favorite. He is getting addicted to kwek-kwek kasi yun palagi kinakain niya.

He said kung ano daw ang kakainin ko is yun daw dapat ang sa kanya. Para daw matchy-matchy kami.

"Tiffany betrayed me..." mahinang bulong ko habang kumakain.

"Hey... it's okay, everything is settled na. Don't worry about her too much," aniya.

"Xaven, if ever na lumandi sayo si Tiffany papatulan mo ba?" naiiyak na tanong ko. I can't imagine him with any other girl rather than me.

"No. I could never. Ikaw at ikaw lang, Anastasia," mariing sabi niya.

My cheeks turned red and he chuckled at my reaction.
