Anastacia's POV

Padabog akong umupo sa mga bleachers dito sa campus. Seems like nagulat si Iraia sa pagdating ko, she was doing a math equation, hindi din nagtagal dumating si Tiffany kasama si Athalia. We just did our homeworks and finished some projects, we we're busy on ourselves when we heard a shout.

"Guuyyyysss!!" Amaris was running towards us.

She was wearing a black long boots, and black fitted skirt above the knee, a white tank top partnered with a beige blazer, also a beret as her hair accessory and helps keep her shoulder length hair in place . A very french style fit, and of course she has her paper bags with her.

Everyone around the campus turned their head to her and to us. When she reached our table, she handed us our pasalubongs and continue to chitchat about her trip to Paris. I was smiling at her because, she finally arrived na.

"Kadadating mo lang?" a deep voice suddenly asked, of course hindi kumpleto ang araw kung walang impacto.

Xaven suddenly went beside me and looked at me first before looking at Amaris. Ano tingin-tingin mo jan, ha?!.

"Ah, yes, Xaven, bat kasi d ka sumama? sayang tuloy..." Amaris. "No need, may pinagkaaabalahan pa ako." then he looked down at me.

Tinignan ko din sya, akala nya papatalo ako sa eye-to-eye contact, huh, hindi 'no! I looked at him sternly but regretted it sooner, i just realized how beautiful his eye was, as I was starring at those amber orbs na para bang tinutukso ako na mas lapitan.

Ang ganda ng mga mata nya, by that time ngayon ko lang napansin kung gaano sya kagwapo. With his perfect angled jaw line, high and slim nose, his new black wolfcutted hair na bumabagay sa kanya and emphasize more on his features at puti nyang balat, plump pink lips, his well built body and his height.

He bent a little towards me para mas matignan ako, na para bang hinahamon ako.

Suddenly we broke the contact when we heard a cough from Iraia. "May tao din.. po... dito, aherm!" she said na kunwareng inuubo. Amaris, Tiffany, and Athalia chuckled, what the heck was that?!

"I can see that, pinagkakaabalahan mo." she teasingly looked at me and Xaven! I just rolled my eyes on them. And then Xaven chuckled too, "yeah..." he nodded.

Amaris and Xaven we're twins, so malamang simula bata pa naiinis na ako sa pagmumukha ng gagong katabi ko.

"Also I perfect the quiz kanina, walang kahirap hirap" sabi ni Xaven na para bang nahirapan ako. I was about to protest at sabihin na hindi din ako nahirapan ng isubo nya yung isang tinapay na dala ni Amaris sa bibig ko. Muntik na ako mabilaukan, hayup!

At yung gago naglakad lang paalis habang naka pamulsa. Sana matapilok sya, animal!

After that, weird interaction with him, I went home.

As i entered the house, si daddy bumungad saakin he was reading a newspaper while having his coffee. I can smell something delicious, cookies!

"How's your quiz?" Dad asked, as expected. "I got it perfect po..." I softly answered, "How about Xaven?" he asked with curiosity,  "We got the same scores po..." I said.

"Dapat lang." he says then went back into reading. A lone tear dropped from my eye, but I immediately wipped it before he could see it. I battled my fist and went to the kitchen. Sakto I saw mommy baking cookies.

"Hey sweetheart! you got perfect daw sa quiz? Congrats my love!! I baked cookies for you oh!!" Mommy cheerful said and went to me, para subuan ako ng cookies na binake nya. It was delicious, made full with love.

Mommy was always there, through my small wins and everything, I just can't seem to understand why dad doesn't. If mommy can, then why can't he? He wasn't like this dati, I want my old daddy back.

Just a simple 'congrats, i'm so proud of you anak.' wala, it would always be "dapat lang." as if kailangan and it's my responsibility to perfect my scores na para bang dun nakadepende yung buhay ko, na dapat ganun gagawin ko from the very first place.

In his perspective, failure is forbidden. Your grades are what defines you as a human being. They said "grades is just a number" while for me it is not 'just a number' because those digits are ways to prove myself to dad that I am deserving for that 'congatulations' from him.
