Chapter 10

Anastasia's POV

           Pagkatapos ko kumain ay napagdesisyonan ko na matulog muna since mamayang gabi pa yung bonfire.
 
I was peacefully sleeping ng makaramdam ako ng tapik sa aking balikat, "Asia, baba na daw" Xaven whispered and I just answered him with a groan.

Unti unti kong binuksan ang mga mata ko at nilingon ang bintana. I can see that the light was slowly being eaten by the darkness. Napahaba ata tulog ko.

I rose from the bed and prepared myself. I was struggling with my hair since I am planning to change a hairstyle palagi nalang kasing half ponytail nakakaumay na din. Nanlaki mata ko ng biglang hawakan ni Xaven buhok ko. I glanced at the mirror and saw him seriously looking at my hair, then he started to comb it and I just let him.

He started to separate my hair into two not including my bangs, tapos gumawa siya ng bun sa ilalim pero hindi literal na bun may natitira pang strands na parang nagmumukhang spikes.

He added white ribbons on both buns kung saan niya tinali yung pangtali. It looked like those space buns that gives the y2k vibes. Then he gently comb my curtain bangs for the finishing touches. I looked myself in the mirror and I adored it! It suits my ootd today and pulls off y2k vibes!

I was admiring my fit nang hindi ko na napansin si Xaven na umalis hindi tuloy ako nakapagthank you.

I prepared my things then locked the room and lumabas na din. As I was heading myself out I saw Iraia, Athalia and Amaris walking to my direction. They told me na plano palang nilang daanan ako eh kaso nakita na nila akong palabas. I asked them kung nasaan si Tiffany but they shrugged. Hindi padaw nila nakikita simula kanina she didn't even texted. Weird.

We started to walk to the bonfire area na malapit sa ilog. Kaya pala basa yung mga taga STEM kanina since they we're preparing the bonfire area pagkatapos nilang mag activities. Nagbatuhan sila ng tubig kaya nabasa.

My mouth dropped when I saw the area, it was pretty! There we're cute fairy lights na nakasabit sa mga puno at lamp posts kaya maliwanag. Mayroong tents din kung saan nakalagay yung first aids at ibang mga necessities. May malaking table din kung saan gaganapin yung budol fight, students from TVL helped cooking the foods. Mapapadami ata kain ko.

Some students didn't come here since they we're tired while some decided to go around the campsite.

We all circled around the bonfire katabi ko sa kanan si Athalia at Tiffany while sa kaliwa ay si Iraia at Amaris. Si Xaven ay nakaupo kasama mga kaibigan niya sa kabila at nakaharap saakin. Yung varsity player ba na crush ni Iraia katabi niya? Their friends?

Some we're talking, laughing and enjoying the nights cold breeze.

Then we started to take photos on my digital camera. I was laughing while taking pics, Iraia was taking goofy pics and stolen shots. She even insisted to take a picture of her, ipopost daw niya sa IG. We even asked one of the STEM students to take a picture of us five, then we started to pose on different angles and wacky.

I even shotted Xaven while he was looking at his phone seriously, it was a stolen shot, pogi padin.

The some students decided to play a game.

Spin the bottle.

They just explain the mechanics na kapag kung sino yung tutukan ng bote ay tatanungin at kailangan nila sumagot honestly. Everyone started to agree and started to spin the bottle.

It first stopped sa varsity player and they asked him a question,

"May gusto kabang taga ibang strand?"

"Wala." napa 'ohhh' ang lahat. Ouch.

They spun the bottle again and it stopped in the STEM student,

"May jowa kana ba?"

"Wala 'no! NBSN 'to!" she cheerfully answered.

Inikot muli ang bote at tumigil sa isang TVL student,

"Kung magluluto ka ng isang putahe, ano yun at bakit?"

"Cherry pie! Para ako yung cherry on top niya!" she answered

"Kadiri naman!"
"Hoy respeto naman sa mga innosente!"
"Tnga anong innosente? ikaw? ulol!"

We all laughed at their bardagulans.

They keep on spinning the bottle and we just laughed at their funny answer, not until it stopped on Xaven.

"Kung nandito yung babaeng gusto mo, ano yung sasabihin mo sa kanya?" I looked at him waiting for his answer, nanlaki mata ko ng tinigna niya din ako pabalik.

"I am always proud of you." sabi niya ng hindi iniiwas ang tingin saakin kaya ako nalang mismo nagiwas ng tingin.

There was a sudden silence not until we heard the other students saying na kakain na daw.

KAINAN NA!!

We all gathered around the table and starting eating. Ang sarap ng pagkain omg!! Yung iba nagsusubuan habang  yung iba naman ay naghaharutan.

I laughed when Iraia was doing the airplane thingy while making that airplane sound at sinusubo yung pagkain na nasa kamay niya sa varsity crush niya eh kaso hindi siya pinapansin.

Athalia and Amaris was infront of them while intimidating Iraia, nagsusubuan sila sa harapan nila! Athalia yung sumusubo at si Amaris ay ngumanganga at gumagawa ng sounds na parang nasasarapan sa pagkain. Tinarayan lang sila ni Iraia. Tiffany and I we're laughing at them.

Nagulat ako ng biglang may pagkaing nakaabang sa bibig ko. Inangat ko ang aking tingin upang makita kung kanino yun at si Xaven nga.

He was looking at me with his emotionless face. I smiled at him and opened my mouth upang ipasok niya yung pagkain eh kaso nilihis niya at sinubo, GAGO!

I looked at him with disbelief and he just smirked at me while enjoying the food.

Sinubuan ko nalang sarili ko.
