________________________________________May dance
The silent tears that heaven cried,
Dripped down on me and took my sight,
The make-up flew straight down my cheek,
I was exhausted, tired and weak.Loneliness knocked on my door,
My bruised heart felt stabbed and sore,
When no one was there anymore,
My feet took me to the shore. The salty breeze, the lashing rain,
My lungs inhaled, it eased the pain.
It washed me clean, from all the sorrow,
A new day will arise, just by tomorrow.I danced in the flood,
My clothes full of mud.Yet I flew home like a feather that day,
Alive and refreshed I welcomed the may.
