_______________________________________The pearl diver
Once upon a time he tried his best,
To win this everlasting quest,
And find the precious treasure,
To satisfy his pleasure. And one time he was oh so close,
He found his desire, I suppose,
In this gorgeous, shining pearl,
Reminding him of this pretty girl.He travelled across land and sea,
Found an open shell on the ground,
The salty water burned in the open wound,
But without gravity he felt weightless and free. But something went wrong,
He struggled too long,
And the deep mystery forever took his breath,
He floated to the ground in peaceful death. And in his hands so bright and shining,
The nacreous little pearl aligning.
