_______________________________________Sold hearts and empty papers
A mind full of memories,
Sat in front of a blank black page,
Thoughts in many treasuries,
My mind always told me to be sage. But my heart wanted to be bold,
So in the end it was what I sold,
I struggled less and that was my pay,
But now I missed it in every way.I was more structured and more neat,
But my heart was gone, even though I heard it beat,
Remorse floated through every vein,
Like poison, causing murderous pain.I knew I'd never get it back,
I was too far away from the right track,
And eventually my mind would die too,
So to remind me of my mistake I got a tatoo. The bright colours competed with the black,
Just like my shining facade stood out against my inner wreck. But deep, deep inside my being,
I knew there was left a little blaze,
That waited for it's freeing,
Behind the dark and fearful haze.
