   It's officially been a week since Mike was crying in the basement to Will, and the only reason he's aware of this is because every-time he lets his mind drift off, it goes straight to that moment.

   He isn't sure whether it's because that was a turning point for both him and Will, or if it was just flat out humiliating. But he can't even feel embarrassed about that because it had been so serious.

  It was truly something he didn't know ever happened. Being so vulnerable with someone. Especially for him, it isn't common.

  But now he finds himself opening up to Will, not even reluctantly anymore.

   Now he wants to give Will his brain and let him study it, so he could discover every single one of his thoughts.

   And he would undoubtedly let Will tear him apart if it made him satisfied.

   Mike wants to find a way to give this to Will in a friendly way, but as soon as Will looks at the track, he'll know.

   Maybe that's Mike's goal, truly. For Will to know without Mike flat-out telling him. It would be pretty humiliating for Mike to walk to Will and say " I'm in love with you."

   So maybe he wants Will to know, and he does, truly does.

   That's why he's been making this mixtape for Will as soon as they woke up on the couch together after.. that night.

   He's curated the perfect message, which he knows Will can decipher. It's clear, anyway, just by the title of half of the songs.

   Fuck, it quite literally has " I only have eyes for you" by the Flamingos.

  This is so cheesy. Maybe Will likes cheesy?

  Mike realizes that he's in his thoughts. He breathes deeply and goes downstairs for dinner.

   If the night goes as planned , Mike will give Will the mixtape somewhere after dinner, in the hopes they'll listen to it together.

   Mike walks into the dining room to find El beside Will, so Mike chooses the seat across from Will.

   When Will sees the disappointed look across Mike's face, he can't help but blush slightly.

   Dinner is quiet, it hasn't been the same since the incident with Mike, but no one acknowledges it.

   Will, Mike, and El watch a movie in the basement. El eventually decides to go to Max's, leaving the boys alone.

  Once she leaves, Mike turns to Will slowly.

   " Will.. wanna go to my room?"

   Will nods and says " Okay, are you going to bed already? Jeez.."

    Mike scoffs and says " No, smartass. I wanna.. give you something." He's grinning now, because just being around Will has always been enough.

   Will rolls his eyes playfully and smiles at Mike.

   They're both sitting there, grinning at each other. If you see them from an outside view, they probably look like idiots.

  But they can't find it in themselves to care, they only care about each other.

   Mike breaks the eye contact in fear that if it continues, he won't be able to leave, ever.

   The boys walk up the stairs and into Mike's room.

  Mike locks the door when they're both in the room, and Will pretends not to notice this, while it's pretty much the only thing he does notice.
