Don't you come here thinking about it, ain't that far
You seem like trouble to me
I can tell by the way that you lean
And the way that you kiss your teeth
And you turn up so flashy clean
Smells like trouble to me

Trouble, Iggy Azealea and Jennifer Hudson

"Morning sunshine!" My mum greeted as I made my way into the kitchen.

"Hey mum." I greeted. I picked up on the scent of bacon and immediately knew she was cooking breakfast.

"Something smells good."

"Why thank you, I just put super unhealthy meat in oil and voila, food."

I chuckled as I went to lean on the kitchen counter opposite from where she stood.

I grabbed a strip of bacon and bit into it.

"Don't start with the health guilt tripping. We are so not that kind of family." I told her.

"Well I have to try once in a while, I am a nurse after all." She spoke, adding the extra bacon onto the plate.

"Are you in the mood for hash browns?" She mused.

"The unhealthier, the better." I responded immediately.

She winked at me before taking a few potatoes from the vegetable rack.

"You know, you got in pretty early last night. You usually get back much later when you go to Cody's."

That was true. And it was usually because I had to sober up before getting back.

"Oh yeah, well Maya has a curfew so I had to get her back before the Lieutenant hunted me down." I told her.

Truth be told, I didn't exactly want to stick around after the last dare and Golden boy's dramatic exit.

I saw the way Maya looked after him, like she wanted to follow him. I couldn't have that happening so I immediately told her that we should leave.

How could she be so naive? Golden boy didn't care about her. He cheated and replaced her. He dished out on her business in front of everyone.

Who did he think he was stopping the kiss?

Sure Ryan was a decent guy but I still hadn't been too keen about Ryan kissing Maya... Infact I hadn't been okay with the dare at all.

I only went along because of what Maya had said, 'I want to win'.

I had never heard her sound so sure and determined about something. And of course I wanted to stick it to Golden boy just as much as she did.

I didn't know how far she was willing to go. Kissing another boy seemed out there but she hadn't said anything so I thought she was cool with it.

But still, why would Cassie choose such a dare for us? Wasn't the whole essence of boyfriend points to bring out the good qualities in a potential boyfriend?

Telling me to pimp out my girlfriend didn't do that at all.

Anyway I chose Ryan because I knew he was probably the most harmless guy in the room.

And I guess in my own way, this was me giving him that chance with Maya that I had apparently blocked him from in the past.

I realised how messed up it was too late .

Maya hadn't consented to that kiss and me choosing someone to kiss her was all sorts of wrong in 'empowering the patriarchy' as Cassie would say.

But of course before I could say or do anything to stop it, freaking Golden boy spoke up.
