We didn't need the moon
and we talked a little
and everything made us laugh
like a pair of idiots.
And I didn't think this time would come,
to hold you in my arms
and be able to tell you...
~Te amo, Franco De Vito"Cassandra." I spoke dryly as Cassie appeared at my locker.
I looked on in confusion seeing the dark shades she wore and the zip up hoodie that was over her head.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
The hallway was empty, most people being in class.
Cassie had texted her to meet me twenty minutes before class ended.
Of course Ms Karen already knew I had a tendency of ditching and was reluctant to let me go but she surprisingly did.
"I'm being discrete." She spoke as she adjusted her shades.
I rolled my eyes. It's not like this was some top secret mission.
"You're ridiculous."
To this she pulled off the glasses and glared at me.
"I hold boyfriend points to such a high standard. Me, helping you cheat is breaking all those rules."
I sighed.
Why couldn't it be anyone else but princess popular over here?
Cassie slipped me a folded up piece of paper as she looked around scared someone would see.
I unfolded it and started scanning through the neat, girly handwriting.
My face concocted into confusion and then disgust.
"What the hell is this?" I asked.
"Uh, your lines?" She responded.
"My lines?"
"You need to make it up to Maya, remember? And I said I had a plan. It all ties up with the next Boyfriend Points challenge and you get a cheat sheet."
"Don't you mean a 'cheese' sheet? These words are cheesy as hell. No one would believe I said them."
And not to mention Fred would probably laugh at me for the rest of my life.
"Nonsense, you're a boy, you don't know anything about romance. They're perfect." She spoke standing up straight and slipping on her shades again. "Trust me Andrews, I know romance."
"Then why are you single?" I muttered.
Cassie shot me a death glare.
She raised her chin and tucked some of her hair into the hood.
"'Now, are you ready to dig the last nail into Daniel and Cindy's coffin?"
I slowly folded up the piece of paper, stuffing it in my pocket. "You're kind of dark." I commented.
Cassie simply shrugged.
"I don't play about my girl." She spoke. "And you better put some emotion into it, Andrews. I expect a show."
I huffed.
What had I gotten myself into?
"We both know Cindy and Daniel deserve it." Cassie spoke. "Do you know he came up to talk to her today like everything is dandy and we're all besties?" Cassie scoffed.
My eyes widened. "Wait, what? When was this?"
"This morning." Cassie spoke. "In the courtyard."
I clenched my fist.
