I leaned against the wall, waiting patiently for her to walk out of class.
It didn't matter that I had asked to leave class ten minutes early. I was just grateful that Maya didn't take Woodshop with me, otherwise, she would have asked questions.
Not even a minute later, Cindy walked out.
She was wearing a short strappy dress that showed off her legs. I licked my lips as I saw her approach me.
She had an amused look on her face as she held up her phone.
"What is this about, Zack?"
I knew she was talking about the text I had sent her to meet me here.
"Boyfriend points, huh?" I asked, trying to seem as unbothered as I could.
She folded her arms across her chest. "Oh congratulations on your nomination." She spoke in a peppy voice.
I pushed myself off the wall.
"Drop it. I already talked to Emma."
Cindy's smirk did't drop.
"You drive me crazy, you know that, Cin?" I spoke as I took a step towards her.
She pushed her chest towards me. "Oh, I know."
Oh no, she wasn't going to get away with this so easily.
I grabbed her hand and opened the door of the supply room right behind me and pushed her gently inside. I pressed her against the wall and lowered my head to her ear. "You think this little game of yours is funny, huh?
"What game?" Her breathing was becoming heavier and I could tell she was trying way too hard to keep control.
I smiled to myself.
"Just drop it already, leave golden boy, come back to me. Let's continue what we had."
"I'll have you know that I'm with Daniel because I want to be with Daniel."
It's funny how she said that but made no effort to move.
I let my hands run down her side to her hips.
"Does Daniel get your heart racing like this?" I teased as I placed a soft kiss just under her jawline where I knew one of her sensitive spots rested. She quivered slightly and her breath hitched.
"Careful, Zack, what would your girlfriend say about this?"
Dammit. She was good.
I pulled away and looked at her. She had a smug look on her face.
"What's the endgame here, Cin?" I asked her in frustration.
I knew I was supposed to maintain control here but dammit! Those lips, those pink full lips. I wanted her and she knew it.
She shrugged and batted her eyes innocently. "What endgame?"
I scoffed. "Why did you nominate me for boyfriend points?"
"Why is anyone nominated for boyfriend points? The school gets to decide whether you're boyfriend material or not."
I rolled my eyes. "Why would I want that?"
"I didn't do it because it's something you would want." She spoke."That was kind of the point."
Of course it was. She knew how much I hated attention.
