(Heavenly - Cigarettes After Sex)
Wrapping his left arm around and pulling me into his side, Sebastian leaned his head against mine and cast the spell again, and again, and again. The small creature's paws padded quickly across the stars around our heads and little wisps of magic fell down on us like fireworks. Blues and silvers and whites across every feature, highlighting cheek bones and the tips of our noses.
The castle nestled into the background and the chilly fall breeze pushing our bodies closer together.
Wisps of the fox's tail whispered across my lips, tickling them softly and I tucked my head closer to Sebastian. The warmth of his body graciously accepted my cold one, hugging it ever tighter.
Sebastian pressed a kiss to my temple and laughed gently.
"Thank you." He whispered against my skin.
Echoes of his sister's words tugged at the tips of my fingers.
"You told Anne about our kiss didn't you?"
His grin flashed its teeth to the moon before tilting back to me. "I tell her everything that's important to me." A beat. "How did you know anyway? I told her not to mention anything to anyone."
It was my turn to grin. "She wrote to me."
His smile crinkled his nose. "That traitor."
Turning my front to his, I slowly lifted my arms, tracing my hands over the top of his chest, over the buttons of his shirt, up over the collar. I wrapped my arms slowly around his neck, allowing my fingertips a moment to drag across his warm skin, to feel his pulse pounding below his neck. Sebastian hummed deeply and his throat bobbed as he watched me, lips slightly parted and instinctually dropping his hands, tucking his wand into his pocket and wrapping his fingers around my waist.
Thick comfort draped around my lungs and padded the space surrounding my heart. The heat impaled my nerves and thoughts for a moment, allowing my fingers to wind themselves among the hair at the back of his head. As I pulled gently, I watched his eyes deepen against the light of the moon, a low noise in the back of his throat.
His shoulders and collarbones rose and pressed quickly against my arms again and again.
His lopsided grin faltered as his eyes flicked over my lips.
"Kiss me." He whispered, soft enough that the words brushed over my ears as silently as the breeze.
The warmth in my heart had spread to my veins, thick and full.
I leaned in slowly and Sebastian's lids fluttered closed, collarbone rising faster now.
I brushed my lips against his but didn't press them together, letting our breaths paint smooth lines over our skin.
After a moment or a minute, I lowered my lips to his jawline and kissed him there.
A shiver ran through his body.
I kissed a little higher up his jaw, and a little higher, a little higher.
Each kiss playing with the speed of his heart and he groaned in frustration.
My lips pressed gently just behind his ear and I let the moonlight slip between my fingers as I brought one thumb to trace over his jaw, over the ghost of my kisses.
Sebastian's hands shook slightly as they raised from my waist. One pressed against my cheek and the other around the back of my neck, teetering smile breaking his breathing.
"Barlowe. Shit... please let me kiss you." breathy.
I smirked against his skin as he pulled my head back from his neck, peeking up through my lashes.
He leaned in and I playfully pulled back, taking a step behind me. His lips pulled tightly upwards.
"Where do you think you're going?"
He stepped forward and I took another back.
My grin lifted my ears, heart pounding as I teased.
Another step,
another step
spine against the back of our stone alcove.
I smiled as the freezing feel of the rock twisted up my bones and a shiver ran down my arms, now wrapped around the back of his neck.
"I've got you." Sebastian smiled lazily and watched my eyes closely as he leaned in once more, one hand to my cheek, holding me gently there. His other hand dropped to my waist and pressed my hip against the stone.
I didn't pull away this time and my heart pulsed as he leaned in closer, capturing my own jaw in a simple kiss. He placed a gentle line of them just under my jaw bone and it was hard to breath. He smiled the moment goosebumps flitted over my skin. Another kiss and my heart was in my ears.
I let out a shaky breath to the stars and the night.
The sound wrapping a hum from Sebastian over the pulse point on my neck.
His lips pulled away and crashed into mine.
I melted into his touch,
swallowed the stars,
breathed in the moon.
Only pulling back for air, my shoulders shook as I traced my eyes over his freckles, across his lips, up to his eyes and watched the darkness beneath them.
"It drives me crazy when you look at me like that." He whispered.
"Then kiss me again."
