Y/n's pov
'Where did he go? Ugh Edmund, why must you always play these tricks on me?'
My eyes widened as a hand pierced through the wall and pulled at my wrist.
I squealed, falling forwards. My eyes squeezed shut,
'I will not open them,' I decided.
"Y/n." Ed whispered. His breath was hot in my ear and I could practically hear him smirking.
I kept my eyes shut.
"Y/n." This time he was slightly louder. Still, I didn't open them.
"If you don't open your eyes, I might just kiss you." His breath moved from my ear to my face.My eyes jumped open and I watched as he laughed, backing away from me. I gasped. The room we were in was covered with hanging lanterns, making the lighting beautifully set.
On the floor, lay a bunch of blankets with a picnic basket in the middle.
"Edmund, this is wonderful!"
And it was, I was so happy that I had jumped into his arms.Thankfully, he caught my thighs as I wrapped my legs around his waist.
He smiled. 'That smile...' My eyes gleamed into his.
"You're amazing. Thank you, Ed."
My eyes moved to my dangling legs.
I moved them slightly, signaling him to put me down, but he held them higher.I looked up at him, "Ed, put me down."
I laughed as his smile grew.
"Make me." His nose twitched as it always does when he got one of his mischievous plans.
I smirked, the perfect plan went into my head.
"Darling, if you wanted a kiss that bad you could've asked." I whispered in his ear.His grip on my legs loosened, I leaned in closer to his face.
I moved my eyes from his to his lips, biting my own to tease him.
I leaned in, moving at the last second to kiss his cheek.
He let go of my thighs completely.
I sat down. "You are such a tease!" He laughed, joining me on the blankets."Hey, don't complain! I gave you a kiss!" He rolled his eyes, "Yeah, a lovely kiss on the cheek." I glared at him playfully.
"What was that?"
"Nothing! Why don't we eat some of this food?" I smiled, "What did you bring?"
I watched as he pulled out containers with grapes, blueberries, and strawberries in them. Along with chocolate, Turkish delights, and sparkling water."Quite the dinner, eh?" I laughed as he elbowed my side. "Oh shush! I brought your favorites! I don't even like sparkling water." His face contorted to disgust.
"Me neither." I shrugged.
"You're joking!" I shook my head and the room erupted with our laughter.————————————-

We finished the food after an hour or so, and eventually laid back on the blankets. My head laid on Edmund's chest while his hand rested on my waist.
"Hey, Y/n?" I lifted my head, shifting my gaze to him. I hummed in response.
"How long have we known each other now? It feels like forever."
I smiled, "It's been almost a year. We spent time apart for too long, Ed. The last couple of months were utter torture.""At least we're older now, more mature."
I laughed, 'He's still the same Edmund, only less shy.' I sat up to admire more of the room.
"Right, because being a year older makes a huge difference! Ed, we haven't changed one bit and you know it!" I said, giggling.
He sighed, "Sweet sixteen! The age of romance!" We shared a laugh. He sat up as well. The room grew quiet.
My hands found the hem of my shirt."You know, Y/n, I've never stopped loving you." His voice shook slightly.
My head perked up, "Never?" I smiled slightly. "I tried, Sure. But it was too difficult." He looked at his feet.
"Ed, I never stopped loving you, either."
I noticed a familiar smirk grow on his lips."May I?" He eyed me while grabbing my waist, pulling me towards him slightly.
I nodded. He gently pulled me onto his lap while I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Y/n, You are the most beautiful woman I will ever lay my eyes upon. You're every reason, hope, and dream I've ever had."
I smiled at his words, which seemed to drip from his lips and came solely from his soul."Not true." I laughed, realizing I said it aloud. Our foreheads touched, "And you, my love, are the most handsome man I've ever met. The most extraordinary thing that has happened to me was you, Ed."
"Not true." We both let out airy giggles, "Shut up, Ed—" He interrupted me with his lips. The kiss was deep, gentle, and tender.
My heart strings played a beautiful tune as our lips moved in sync.
He laid back, taking me with him and rolled over so I was beneath him.Our lips parted, "I love you. You may as well take my heart, Y/n. It's already full of you." My eyes widened.
Those words didn't scare me anymore, but they still gave me a shock.
He got off of me. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have—"
I pulled him back onto me by his tie,
"Please, don't go. I love you, Edmund.
But I would only take your heart, if you'd take mine."I placed my hand at the back of his neck, pulling his lips to mine once more.
This time more passionate and full of desire. His tongue glided across my bottom lip.
I opened my mouth, giving his tongue access to explore my mouth.
This kiss is what let us trade our hearts. Allowing them to beat rapidly, but as well in sync.My hands found their way into his hair,
his rested on the blanket on either side my head.
I moaned into the kiss, lost in the haze of my lust.
He pulled away with a smirk, his lips wet and flushed, "We should continue this later." I nodded, breathing heavily.
'I've been kissed once before, but it was nothing like that.'Edmund got off of me and laid at my side. "Will you court me, Y/n?" I looked at him in confusion.
"Court? Ed, this isn't the 1800's." I laughed as he rolled his eyes.
"Listen, I've spent thousands of years in Narn—"
I interrupted him by planting a kiss to his cheek."Ed, I would love to court you."
He smiled, "By Aslan, you're perfect."
I yawned and wrapped my arms around him, snuggling my head in the crook of his neck.
His arms snaked around my waist and I felt his knee slightly push between my legs.
My eyelids became heavy while listening to Edmund's soft snores, and I fell asleep in his arms.1134 words
