The medicine Lucy received helped her feel much better. She spent the rest of her time in the hospital wing resting until it was time to meet the boys for butterbeer. She used the Floo flame to travel to her common room to change into some more comfortable clothes. She put on one of the ensembles she had found. There were many outfits she came across, but not many were her style. She brandished a long sleeved green top with a short black ribbon around the neck. She had a brown, long skirt on with brown knee high boots. It was a nice change from her normal school uniform.
"Well you clean up quite nicely." Sebastian spoke, seeing her come down from the stairs on the girls side of the common room.
"You'd be truly blown away by my muggle wardrobe." Lucy didn't care anymore if others heard of her being a muggle born. She'd deal with them accordingly if they approached her. She had seen more than enough these past a few weeks, she knew a bully would be the least of her problems. Lucy giggled softly at the thought of anyone seeing her in her normal attire. To say they'd be shocked is an understatement.
"Color me intrigued." Sebastian chuckled, "I'd love to see sometime."
"Hmmm we'll see." Lucy walked closer to the two.
"Alright you two. We'll need to get a move on if we want to make it back before curfew." Ominis interrupted, his wand at the ready for their walk.
"Ah Ominis, still following all of the rules?" Sebastian chuckled softly.
"Better than spending my free time in detention, Sebastian." Ominis turned his back to Sebastian, walking towards the spiral staircase to exit.
"Though I agree, Sebastian does need to stop breaking so many rules, it is Friday night and I'm sure we could stay up a little past curfew. Why not see where the night takes us?" Lucy walked quickly to catch up with Ominis.
"Hey! The last time I got detention was because I was covering for a certain someone." Sebastian leaned down, whispering in her ear.
"And I'm greatly appreciative of that." Lucy stuck her tongue out at him, before finally catching up to Ominis, "What do you say? Let's see how the night goes and decide later?"
Ominis let out a sigh, shaking his head slightly, "Very well."
"Yes!" Lucy celebrated to herself.
"Don't push it." Ominis kept walking onwards.
"Right. Sorry." Lucy kept the smile on her face, locking eyes with Sebastian. He also had a smile on his face. After a moment, the two laughed, chasing after the blonde boy who was slowly getting further away.
It was lighthearted as the Slytherin trio walked to Hogsmeade. The journey was filled with nonsensical conversation and laughs. "Okay my turn. I'm curious. I love animals so much, but what's your favorite?" Lucy said, walking backwards in front of the two boys.
"Is that really necessary?" Ominis shook his head.
"Of course! You can learn a lot about someone based on their favorite creatures! Like for me, my favorite creature overall is a dragon." Lucy smiled widely.
"A dragon? Why?" Sebastian raised an eyebrow, flabbergasted by her answer.
"Because they're truly incredible creatures. In the muggle world, everyone says they're extinct or never existed, but I always held some hope. Regardless if it was patrolling the skies or below the seas, I still believed in them. It was a bit bittersweet though that one nearly killed me, but I don't think it was entirely in control." Lucy thought back to the collar the dragon had on the night of her attack.
"I guess the type of animal you love is an embodiment of yourself." Ominis said.
"What do you mean by that?" Lucy questioned, confusion etched across her features.
