"How dare you speak his name, you little bitch." A sinister hiss sounded from around the corner that they ran from. A dark cloak soon came into view accompanied by a silver mask. The mask had holes for the person to see as well as small squares near the mouth for them to breathe and speak.

"I'll have fun with you." Everything moved in slow motion as the strange figure held up the wand in their direction. A flicker of red sparked from the tip of the wand before it shot directly out of the wand towards them.

Lucy knew exactly what spell was being thrown at her, without hearing the figure say it. She encountered the spell far too many times in the past year. Against every instinct she had, her limbs locked at her side and her shoulders tensed up. Her eyes squeezed shut as she turned her head, bracing for the excruciating pain.

A pain that never hit her. Sudden screams tore her eyes open, fear and panic racing through her. The blast was coming right for her, but something, or someone blocked it's path.

"Sebastian!" Lucy shouted, attempting to save him from hitting the ground, but to no avail. The second Sebastian hit the hard marble, he crumbled into a ball. Sparks of red flowed through him as he twitched and cried out in pain.

The figure laughed before preparing another blast.

"Get away from them!" A feminine voice shouted and within a moment, the figure flew away and was gone.

"What in the bloody hell are you doing here!?" A deeper voice called out.

Lucy didn't respond, only staring at a twitching Sebastian as he slowly escaped the cruciatus curse, "Seb? Please tell me you're alright." Lucy's voice quivered.

Sebastian coughed and slowly rolled over to face her. The fear in her eyes was even more prominent than when the curse was first fired.

"I'm so sorry." Sebastian slowly found the strength to push himself up. He winced, holding onto his side as pain shot through him.

"Sorry for what?" Lucy immediately placed her hand over his, "Are you hurt?" She couldn't help but scan his body over for injuries.

"I'm sorry for when I casted that curse on you." Sebastian looked at her with a pained look. He felt guilty the moment he did it, but experiencing it was another world of pain. He felt like he was on the brink of death and the immense pain was slowly leading him there.

"Sebastian, we've been over this. I've forgiven you for that long ago." Lucy let a small smile form on her face, "And if it makes you feel any better, that blast was probably a lot stronger than the one you casted on me."

"While this is quite romantic and all," Sarcasm dripped from Ominis as he spoke, " Perhaps you two can continue later WHEN WE GET SOMEWHERE SAFE!" He shouted at the end, gripping his wand, "We are in a damn battlefield and you want to flirt! Do it when we get back to our time. Merlin save us." he muttered the last part as he spun around to the people who had come to help them.

Lucy carefully helped Sebastian stand up again, "Thank you for your help." she said before turning to the people who had come to help. She tilted her head slightly. She had no idea who the two boys were but the girl looked very familiar.

"Hermione? Is that you?" Jess still gripped her wand, but it was relaxed at her side now.

"I see this isn't the last time we will meet then. That's a good sign." Hermione let a small smile form on her lips. Come on, let's get somewhere semi-safe." She ushered them to follow.

"A few death eaters snuck through the barrier before it was put up. I'm glad we found you when we did." Hermione spoke as they guided them to the great hall.
