Lucy sat on the edge of the sofa bed she had put in the lower level of the room of requirement, thinking over Fig's words. Another few weeks had passed by in a flash.

As soon as she met with Fig, they both went to the map chamber. That night, she met Sebastian and he showed her the undercroft. Ominis was a bit upset at first, though she didn't blame him since Sebastian failed to inform him of his plans. Ominis quickly apologized for his little outburst later on. The room itself was an incredible hidden gem and she was ecstatic to say the least. She felt grateful that Sebastian had trusted her, enough so that he let her see his hideout. Not to mention Sebastian taught her such an intense spell. She made sure to put it to good use the next day, during the first trial.

She felt the first trial was a bit difficult, but she did well, especially since she just began her journey at Hogwarts. She quickly took to more potion making, wanting as many wiggenweld potions as she could. The last thing she wanted was to be in a dire situation without any potions. She did, after all, only have one life.

She also managed to survive her first flying class, though Everett's trip cost her some house points. It was her first time, but she adored being on a broom, able to fly anywhere to her heart's content. She made time to buy her own as soon as she had enough galleons saved up.

Lucy rose to her feet, walking towards the center of the room. She decided to give her room a gothic theme with green colors to support her Hogwarts house. She took her wand from its resting place, gripping it firmly in her hand. She pulled her phone out with her free one, setting it on the ground and backing up a few steps.

"Baubillious." Lucy followed the wand movements Fig had shown her, pointing the tip of her wand at her phone. She watched as a white, electric stream shot out from her wand to her phone. She withdrew her wand rather quickly, not wanting to completely fry the object. She walked over to it, picked it up, and attempted to turn it on. She let a small smile grace her features, the screen powering on. She scrolled over to the gallery, seeing all of her pictures still on the phone. She couldn't help but swipe through some of them, wondering what her friends and family were doing as she trained just to stay alive.

She sighed as she went to her music, putting the playlist on shuffle before throwing the phone back on the sofa bed. She held her wand up and pointed it at the mannequin that stood before her, "Confringo!"

Lucy breathed heavily as she rested her head against the wall. She spent hours casting the various spells she had learned, trying out different moves, tactics, and even power levels. She gripped her wrist, twisting it gently, trying to loosen how stiff it had become.

"How am I going to win this?" Lucy mumbled to herself. She knew she'd have to face even more dangerous foes in the near future. Lucy pulled out her field guide as she sat, opening the map.

She was still surprised how informative this little book was. She looked across the region, noticing darker marks on the map, signaling a person who needs help with something. Most of the time, it wasn't urgent, just used for whoever would come help. She couldn't help but wonder if Professor Weasley had recruited some locals to aid her in her studies towards her OWLs.

Once Lucy caught her breath, she rose to her feet. She quickly moved up the stairs, waving to Deek as she exited the room and entered the astronomy tower hallway. She wished she could fly on her broom or slide down the rail like Peeves had done. Though it would be fun, one would get her into trouble with the headmaster while the other would make her fall flat on her face in front of who knows how many students.

She descended down the staircase, heading to the dark arts area of the wing, following her book towards the black mark that needed help.

Lucy came to a halt, seeing four pairs of legs blocking her path. She tore her eyes away from her book, coming face to face with a rugged looking Ravenclaw girl. She noticed the other three girls in her group as the same girls from the quad a few weeks ago.
