Lucy let a sigh escape her lips as she leaned against the railing of the long bridge, looking out at the view before her. Her O.W.Ls were dont and the house cup had been given to Slytherin. It was a bittersweet celebration as her fellow house members surrounded her. Well, all except Sebastian and Ominis. Sebastian was nowhere to be seen while Ominis held a sad smile on his face as he stayed at the table.

Sebastian had been distant since she told him about her origins. He was having trouble processing the entire thing. But now, she found him by her side often, either spending what little time they may have or trying to convince her to stay.

Even her beasts she cared for seemed to know something was up. They greeted her at every chance they had, nudging her and trying their best to make her smile. It worked, especially considering her soft spot for animals, magical or not.

Reko even snuck out of the Room of Requirements, spending much of his time by her side, even at this moment. He was just curled around the post beside her, but she could feel his chill skin by her arm.

"Mind if I intrude?" She felt a warm body take perch beside her but the voice caused her to grimace.

"Leander, I thought we were through talking." Lucy moved away from the boy invading her bubble.

"I know, but I thought I'd give you another chance. Despite you being muggle born, I am willing to look past it because of how powerful you are." Lucy could feel Leander's eyes on her as he spoke. A shiver went down her back as she turned her head towards him.

"No, now please leave me alone. I've been through a lot these past few months and I'd appreciate some peace." Lucy let her head rest against her hands, trying to go back to enjoying the view.

Lucy found herself standing up, hearing a low sound, almost resembling a whistle or hum of some sort. She slowly let her hand wander into pocket, gripping her wand. The sound was familiar to her. When she first found Reko, he emitted the same hum on their way back to the castle, warning her of a camp up ahead.

She turned towards Leander, pulling her wand out, "Don't you dare. Take the rejection and fuck off." Lucy glared at him, seeing him pull out his own wand in response.

"You drew first, don't blame this on me!" Leander kept his wand pointed her way.

"You tried to curse me last time." Lucy kept her gaze hard on him, flickering her eyes from him to his wand.

"He did what?" Another voice spoke from beside her. It was dark and angry as the pair of footsteps came to a halt.

"Seems loverboy is back in the picture," Leander scoffed, moving his wand towards Sebastian.

"What the fuck did you do last time, Leander?" Sebastian's eyes darkened as he held his own wand.

"Oh, please, Sebastian. I'm not afraid of you." Leander 's eyes wavered as he spoke. Though he wanted to appear brave, his demeanor was anything but.

"Leave, Leander." Lucy reiterated, "While you still can."

Leander lowered his wand, taking a few steps forward to walk past them. He stopped for a moment, gaze turned towards Sebastian, "A slytherin is really going to give up his blood status for a mudblood? Be my guest. I should've used the cruciatus curse when I had the chance." His voice was easily heard, despite his best efforts to be silent. Lucy gripped her wand tightly, anger flowing through her veins.

Sebastian's eyes narrowed as he spun around, grabbing Leander's arms and swiftly throwing a punch at his face, "Take back your words, Leander." Sebastian growled, gripping onto his cloak, "I won't hesitate to toss you over the edge."
