"Why is everyone here a fucking dick?" Sebastian's timer was close to exploding. As the day went on, the more incidents happened, and the more ill tempered he became, "I'm the best duelist at Hogwarts, this is ridiculous."
"Easy Sebastian." Ominis held onto Jess's arm this time as they walked out of the school, "This isn't our place and you know it."
"Why would you ever want to come back here? Leander is a royal pain in the ass but at least I could beat him in a duel. I can't even duel here." Sebastian groaned, scratching the back of his head.
"Seb, it's okay," Lucy snaked her own arm through his, "Plus you asked for this remember? You wanted me to show you this muggle world." Lucy kept her voice quiet as the four of them walked through the flood of students in the courtyard.
"That was when I thought you were from the same era as me." Sebastian shook his head, "Perhaps we could sneak over to Hogwarts. See the castle and how it has changed."
"Ah, yes. Let's just sneak into Hogwarts. Like it'd be that simple." Jess scoffed as she guided Ominis.
"I agree. Sebastian, it is nearly impossible to sneak in during our time. Ranrok was only able to because of the drill and they most likely have updated their safety measures since. You really are more daft than usual." Ominis shook his head. He was getting more restless as the day went on. Being unable to sense a single thing around him scared him more than he initially thought.
"Ominis you seem to forget, we may not be current students but we do have robes and, you know, magic." Sebastian shook his head.
"But you still fail to notice we are in a different time, Sebastian. We can only hope the headmaster or headmistress is better than Black." Ominis shook his head.
"Well, after Voldemort's invasion with the death eaters, Hogwarts is more secure than ever. You can't even disapparate to Hogsmeade anymore. They casted a new jinx on it for those that even try." Jess sighed.
"You know, for someone who doesn't attend you sure do know a lot about Hogwarts." Ominis chuckled softly.
"My mom attended and told me all the stories of how she almost died during the battle. Her best friend died right in front of her. We fought heavily about whether I would go to Hogwarts or not and she did lots of research." Jess let a sigh escape her lips, "I love my mom, but I do feel rather confined here."
"So since we can't disapparate, why don't we just use the floo network?" Lucy raised an eyebrow as the schoolyard became smaller.
"There is no floo network at Hogwarts." Jess shook her head, "If we want to go, it needs to be the normal way. By taking the train at Kings Cross."
Sebastian prodded his tongue to his cheek "Maybe we can give it a shot? I would love to see how-"
"Sebastian, you've said it plenty of times. We know you want to see how it has changed." Ominis shook his head.
"Alright you two, that is enough bickering for one day." Lucy shook her head as they approached her house.
"Do we need to use the charm again?" Ominis was eager to pull out his wand, already digging in his pocket to retrieve it.
"Nope. My parents are at work, but I'm sure it's fine to use your wand again. My brother may be home as a heads up, but he did see you with it yesterday." Lucy shrugged, pulling out her keys and pushing the door open.
The group was met with loud noises the second they walked in. Frantic yelling as two male voices could be heard from upstairs. The four shared a look before bolting up the stairs. Fear filled Lucy as the noises were coming from her room.
