About 3 weeks had gone by since Lucy met with Fig in his classroom. He had told her about an electric type spell that she was going to attempt to use on her phone, once she perfected it. On top of that, as soon as they found out where they needed to go next to deal with the wild goose chase they seemed to be on, Headmaster Black summoned Fig away.
It didn't take her long before she realized she needed to find Sebastian and enlist his help to sneak into the restricted section. Lucy still felt terrible for him taking the blame for her.
She felt overwhelmed as she laid on her bed. She was dressed in her robes for the day, but her head pounded from everything she had been doing. From the extra assignments her professor assigned, attending classes, and all the Keeper business, it just felt as if she had too much piled on her plate. It didn't help that students and people around Hogwarts were asking for her help so often. Though she could ignore the request, she found herself wanting to help either way.
She laid her hand on her forehead, the coolness helping relieve some of her headache. She let out another huff before rising to her feet. She threw off the old robe she had been wearing and pulled a new one out of her drawers.
After Nellie told her about the daedalian keys, she decided she'd take a free day to explore the castle and find them. She still was shocked by the sheer size of it. She knew she got lost a few times, but eventually found them all. She had grown quite fond of the robe. When she cast magic, it would glow. She also couldn't help but love the glowing snake on the back. A silver chain connected the front with snakes on either side. She ran her hands along the leather collar
During her exploration, she managed to find a few more variants in uniforms as well. At the present, she was wearing a black waistcoat with green stripes throughout. Instead of a regular tie, she had a dark green bow to match the stripes. A black skirt matched the ensemble. She held the long flowy skirt, happy that she wouldn't be dying in the summer heat anymore. It wasn't quite fall yet, but it was getting there.
It was a Friday and the only class she had was herbology. With everything that had been going on, she has yet to attend a lecture, but Professor Fig said he talked to Professor Garlick already and that she was excused. She exited her common room quietly and made her way to the herbology classroom. She studied her field guide map as she walked, not wanting to get lost on her way.
Before she knew it, she was the last to enter the classroom. Professor Garlick gave her a whole introduction to the class, one she just sat and smiled awkwardly through. She saw some familiar faces, but let out a huge sigh of relief seeing Natty, Ominis, and Sebastian in her class. She let a small smile fall on her face as she met Sebastian's eyes. He was standing there, almost smirking with his hands clasped together in front of him.
Lucy walked over, taking her place next to him, "You know it feels like you've been avoiding me for a bit."
Lucy turned her head towards him as Professor Garlick went on with the lesson, "I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention. I've just, you know, had a lot on my plate." she shook her head quickly. She already felt terrible for him taking the blame during the library incident, but that last thing she wanted was him to think she was avoiding him.
"No worries. I know you've got a lot going on. But don't forget, you can ask for help." Sebastian nodded to her. Lucy had told her everything detailing her arrival there as well as to what Ranrok is after. The only thing she has to tell him now is the fact that she isn't from this time whatsoever.
"I'll be even more in your debt then." Lucy chuckled softly, playing with the cotton the professor had given all of them when they entered the room.
"I told you before, I enjoy having friends in my debt." Sebastian smiled. The conversation was quickly cut short as Garlick instructed them to put the cotton into their ears for safety. She looked down at the stem in front of her, grasping it tightly. She looked around the room noticing everyone else doing the same.
