Another night my brother and I watched you as you worked. We found you fascinating, but I was afraid of you and since I was scared, my brother waited and watched with me to find the courage. I was scared because I didn't want to let you down. Up until that point, I had never seen you proud of me. Not so much as a smile or a grin you shot my way. You'd look me in the eyes and continue on with your task. I was an afterthought, but I was determined to be more than that. My brother didn't understand why, but he supported me anyway. So, we waited and watched as the other angels won your smiles. Now I look back and think it killed him. How could they be worth more love than we ever received when they were just angels, and we were gods?
