Let's unveil the mystery of missing flowers in Jisoo's Flower garden....
Jisoo loves trees. She loves nature, but mostly the trees. It has a special space in her heart.
Even before she learned how to write her own name, she already knew that trees are one of her favorite thing the world could offer.
Years passed, the love for trees is still there. But now, she learned to appreciate flowers more, how lovely they are.
She met her wife, Rosé, back in college. They studied in the same school and grew closer as they share the same circle of friends.
Rosé likes flowers, no, she loves them. Just like how Jisoo loves trees. Through Rosé, Jisoo learned more about flowers and eventually loved them too.
That is why, today, as a married couple living together, they both tend to a variety of flowers and has a couple of trees here and there around their property.
There are a couple of flower beds around their house and in their backyard that Jisoo planted all by herself.
Their neighbors definitely love their aesthetically pleasing garden and overall property. Even the kids around loves it.
But lately, Jisoo feels that there is something wrong with their garden.
She thinks that someone or something is messing with her plants. She can't pin point which but she can definitely feel it.
ROSÉ POV
It's already 7 in the morning when I finished preparing our breakfast. Jisoo is still outside watering the plants. It's been almost an hour since she went out to water them but she still haven't came back.
I decided to sneak a peek at the backyard before actually stepping outside to call her. She's looking around looking oh so serious.
"Jagiya, is everything alright?" I asked as I hugged her waist. "What's wrong hmm?"
Jisoo turned and hugged me back before kissing my lips. "Nothing much... I just think that something's wrong with the garden... Have you seen some things out of ordinary?"
"Not really, you might be just overthinking things, babe. Come on, let's eat first." I dragged her inside to eat breakfast.
"Alright... I'm also getting hungry..." Jisoo held my hand, following my lead towards the kitchen island.
3 days passed by before Jisoo finally got it....
3RD PERSON POV
"Babe, I think I got it." Jisoo said seriously. She faced Rosé who's sitting beside her. They are both outside, relaxing, or supposedly, as it is finally a weekend.
"What is it?" Rosé asked curiously. She stopped reading her book to give her full attention to her wife.
"Some of the lilies are missing... even the roses..... I think we've been robbed..." Jisoo stated. She's looking for any kind of reaction from her wife but never had so she asked Rosé instead. "What is it?"
"Uhmmm..." Rosé sounded so guilty...
"Is there something you're not telling me?" Jisoo asked, confuse about what's happening.
"I'm sorry, babe... I never thought which flowers she picked.. I'm sorry if she messed your favorite.." Rosé pouts and about to cry.
"Who's she?" Jisoo asked her again.
"Our neighbor's kid." Rosé simply replied which Jisoo countered with "A kid??" Sounded so confuse now.
"Yeah.. She's a 5 year old. She went here yesterday, I think an hour after you left for work. I never meant to keep it from you.. I just forgot about it." Rosé guiltily explained.
Before Jisoo could respond, Rosé continued giddily, "She's so cute though.. and sooo tiny and pretty.. Our neighbor's has a really lovely kid.."
Jisoo's frustration evaporated as her wife continued to gush about their neighbor's child. "Arasso Arasso.. just- next time, maybe you could ask her to go easy on picking the flowers from its bed. The roots might be damage."
"I helped her out, but I guess I was distracted chatting with her" Rosé chuckled, "I'll keep that in mind. Thank you for understanding and taking care of our plants." She kissed Jisoo, being grateful.
3RD POV
Jisoo just had breakfast together with Rosé. Rosé went to take a shower right after cleaning up the kitchen so Jisoo went outside, cleaning around their backyard and planned to water the plants as well afterwards while having her morning coffee since she have nothing else to do.
She crouched to pluck some growing weeds around the flowers before preparing to get the garden hose. As she turn around to get up, something caught her attention.
"AAAHH!! GNOMES!!!"
Rosé rushed outside while holding a glass and a bottle of milk on each hand. "What happened?!" She saw just as Jisoo stumbled backwards, almost sitting on the flower bed.
"Who are you??" Jisoo's eyes went from the little girl with a blue flowy dress to the little boy who's covering the girl behind him.
"We're sorry." The little boy bowed a bit as he held and covered the little girl behind him protectively. "We didn't mean to scare you, Mrs. Kim.". Which the little girl uttered a sorry as well after her brother said it.
"Yah Jisoo, get up.. Its okay, kids. My wife, Jisoo, was just startled. I forgot to tell her you guys are here before I went to the kitchen. Sorry, I got excited.." Rosé went from being guilty to having a sheepish grin on her face.
Getting up, Jisoo dust herself before walking closer to where her wife is, with the kids near her. "It's okay, I was just startled. I didn't know. And I'm sorry as well for shouting. It's not directed to you, guys.."
The siblings smiled, relieved that they didn't cause any ruckus as what they promised to their mom before getting outside their own house.
"Good morning, Mrs. Jisoo." the little girl said, already familiar with Jisoo's name as it was what Rosé mentioned when they talk as she visited there and asked for some flowers.
The little boy followed before Jisoo greeted them back. Rosé just smiled and help the kids settle on the chairs in their backyard.
"Wait for me here kids, I'll just continue preparing a little snack for you." Rosé had a small talk with Jisoo first before disappearing inside.
Even though the kids just had breakfast an hour ago, the smell of freshly baked cookies and something they don't know but smells as good, they can't resist the snack offered.
"Hi, what's your name?" Jisoo asked the little girl before asking the same question to the little boy.
"I'm Lianne, Mrs. Jisoo." Lianne smiled at her widely. "And I'm Luca, ma'am." Luca smiled as well.
Jisoo smiled back at them and introduce herself as well. "You can call me Aunty Jisoo or Chu, kids. It sounds much better." Jisoo laughed that made the kids giggle.
They continued to chat for a bit before Rosé came carrying a tray of freshly baked cookies and muffins, as well as two glasses of milk for the kids. They enjoyed talking and having snacks.
While the kids are talking and giggling with Rosé about something, She leaned back and look at them, feeling warm and soft.
Rosé was right. The kids are lovely. The 5 year old Lianne is bubbly, like a ball of sunshine. While the 6 year old Luca is such a respectful and loving brother, a complete little gentleman.
It was the first time Jisoo met the kids but already drawn to them.
When she met the kids' parents, Jennie and Lisa, the following day, Jisoo knew that those two lovely kids have the perfect role models and would grow as lovely and kind as they are today.
Eventually, Jisoo and Rosé had their own children and the two families grew closer, even becoming the best of friends, as one family, throughout their life time.
