Now to get started with the scenario!
Luther: I think he'd be sort of pissed off for a while before eventually calming down. Afterwards he'd probably find the joke funny- though he'd ask you (respectfully) to never make the joke again.
Sloane: She would most likely get upset even after she finds out you were just messing around, don't play with Sloane's heart like that. It would take her longer to forgive you.
Five: He would be angry. I feel like he would try hunting down your ex even after you explained that it was just a joke. He would definitely make some kind of "mean" joke back to you just to get revenge.
Klaus: Klaus would react one of two ways. 1) He'd think the joke was hilarious 2) He'd get so depressed that he'd drink a whole bottle of whiskey. Be wary.
Diego: This man would be pissed, not at you though. He would just be angry at the thought of you even having an ex. He'd pull a Five and try hunting them down.
Allison: I think she'd give you the silent treatment for a few days. That, or she'd also try murdering your ex for even existing.
Viktor: Viktor would get extremely insecure. He may ignore you for a few days, not on purpose but just because he's stuck in his own head. He would eventually talk to you about it and timidly ask you not to make that joke again.
Alphonso: Just like Viktor, this man would get very insecure. He would not find the joke very funny.
Fei: Before finding out that you were just messing around, she'd be mad at you. After finding out that it was a joke, she'd be mad at you. Give her a few days to calm down, you may have to grovel.
Jayme: She would not find it very amusing. (0/10 didn't laugh). She would deadpan stare at you until you start apologizing. She also may be a little salty about it a few days after.
Ben(2): The reminder of you being with another person at one point just makes his blood boil. The fact that you jokingly called him by said person's name doesn't help either. You would definitely have to stop him from killing someone.
Ben(6): I honestly think this man would find it hilarious. You would make the joke and he'd be like "what are you dumb?" Then just start cracking up.
Marcus: I think Marcus would be annoyed at first but then quickly get over it. It would be a shot to the ego though.
