Interest- Lila x (Fem)Reader

A/N: This is season 2 Lila meaning she's pretty threatening and 'borderline' a creep, just a warning lol. Also, this story ended up mostly being banter between the siblings... so enjoy weirdos!!

READERS 2nd PERSON POV:

You're currently hiding under rubble from a torn to shreds barn as a child you've just learned to be named 'Harlan' floats in the air, unknowingly destroying what's left of said barn. You've used your powers to summon vines, for a little more protection against floating debris.

Your siblings are scattered around attempting to let Viktor work his magic, but the once beautiful farm is still slowly deteriorating. You can't help but feel bad for Viktor, his perfect world crumbles alongside everything else. The woman with Viktor, Sissy, looks absolutely terrified and Harlan is clearly not doing too well either.

'I wish I could help Sissy understand... at least for Viktor's sake.' You've never gotten the chance to have a special someone in your life. You can only imagine what it'd feel like to gain that, only for miscommunication to tear it apart. 'Well miscommunication and a newly super powered child', you spare a glance at Harlan who seems to be finally listening to Viktor.

You're snapped out of your thoughts when a distraught Diego dives on the ground next to you. "Y/N! The Handler and Lila's here!" You turn to him with wide eyes. "Wait what?!" You remember what Five and Diego had told you about the two. The former being Fives essential torturer and blackmailer for years, the latter being the one to kidnap Diego because she liked him? You don't understand Lila's motives completely, but you know they're both bad news... especially at a time like this.

You peer out from where you're hiding, allowing your vines to disappear, only to see Lila already staring at you and Diego. You awkwardly wave at her before ducking down once more. "Diego... she knows we're siblings, right? Because I swear to all that's holy if I get your crazy ex after me because of us talking, I'm GOING to murder you in your sleep." You glare at him though it exclusively serves to annoy the man. "Pipe down pipsqueak, Lila and The Handler know all. She definitely knows we're siblings." You breathe a sigh of relief. "That's the only good news I've heard all day."

"What're we talking about?" Is then whispered right next to your ear. You practically jump out your skin only to whip around to face a beaming Klaus. You slap his arm 'lightly'. "What the hell Klaus, this is so not the time!" Diego grumbles in what you assume to be agreement. Klaus pouts before you spot Five making his way to The Handler and Lila, who have yet to move from their spot in the empty field. You point him out, "we should probably go with him, shouldn't we?" "Yeah probably..." Is Diego's hesitant reply. You release a deep sigh and stand up. "Okay dudes, let's go formally meet the torturer and the ex!" You fake a positive attitude meanwhile Klaus ACTUALLY looks happy as he skips alongside you.

You and Klaus reach Five first while a meek Diego follows suit. You look the Handler up and down, catching a glimpse of a briefcase, before looking to Five. "This is her?" You spare her another glance. "Really?" Five looks extremely pissed at the mere sight of the woman. He clenches his fists and bitterly replies, "unfortunately... what do you even want?" The end of his sentence being directed at the woman herself. She looks slightly ruffled at the dismissive nature of your comment and Fives angry tone.

She quickly straightens herself out and you practically see the moment her kind facade falls back into place. "Oh, my dear Five, I've missed you too! Sadly, I'm simply here on business... plus Lila has some herself." Your eyes shift over to Lila at the mention of her name. You're aware of the "unfinished business" regarding her, it of course being related to Diego. The same Diego who's currently trying to hide behind you and Klaus. "What's that briefcase ya got there?" The awkward silence is broken by Klaus, who clearly has never listened to Five talk... ever.
