Exhausted

Heavy eyes and aching bones,
Another day has come and gone.
The weight of stress upon my mind,
Feels like an endless uphill climb.

The hours stretch into the night,
My thoughts a blur, no end in sight.
The world spins on, without a break,
And I'm left here, my soul to shake.

The weight of responsibility,
A burden that never leaves me free.
Every task, a mountain to climb,
My exhaustion, an unwelcome sign.

But still I push, I carry on,
My inner strength, not yet gone.
For in this struggle, I can see,
A chance to be who I'm meant to be.

So though I'm weary, and so worn,
I will rise up, to face the storm.
For though I'm tired, I'll never quit,
My dreams too important to forfeit.

So let the exhaustion come and go,
I'll weather the storm, and find my glow.
For even in my darkest hour,
My spirit will never cower.
