"Memories of My School Days"

I miss my school days, oh so dear,
When life was simple and filled with cheer.
The days were long, but the years flew by,
And now I look back and let out a sigh.

The smell of the chalk and the sound of the bell,
The rush to class, it all seems so well.
The teachers who taught us, with love and care,
The memories we made, we'll always share.

The friends I had, both old and new,
The games we played, the pranks we drew.
The laughs we shared, the tears we shed,
The lessons learned, the books we read.

The uniforms we wore, the rules we followed,
The tests we took, the grades we swallowed.
The thrill of winning, the pain of losing,
The challenges we faced, the goals we were choosing.

Now that I'm grown and life is complex,
I miss those days, I must confess.
But the memories live on, within my heart,
Of my school days, a precious part.

So I close my eyes and take a breath,
And let nostalgia fill my chest.
I'll cherish those moments, come what may,
And keep them close, each passing day.
