My night in shining armor,
My champion of the night,
With sword and shield in hand,
You came to me, a shining light.
In the darkest of hours,
You rode in on your steed,
With bravery and courage,
You filled my heart with need.
Your armor gleamed so brightly,
Reflecting off the moon,
You stood before me, valiant,
A true knight, to make me swoon.
You fought off all my demons,
With love and selfless might,
You lifted me up gently,
And held me oh so tight.
My night in shining armor,
My hero, my true love,
You came and rescued me,
With grace from up above.
Now I walk with you proudly,
Hand in hand, side by side,
With you, my heart's protector,
I'll always have my guide.
