One-Sided Love

I pour my heart out in every word,
My feelings for you, they go unheard.
I long for your touch, your warm embrace,
But you don't even know my face.

You're the sun, the moon, the stars above,
But my love for you is a one-sided love.
I watch from afar, as you walk by,
Wishing you'd notice me, just once, before I die.

I dream of the day when you'll finally see,
How much you mean to me.
But until then, I'll keep on dreaming,
Of a love that's more than just one-sided scheming.

My heart is heavy, my soul is tired,
From a love that's never been requited.
But still I hold on, to this love of mine,
Hoping someday, you'll give me a sign.

But for now, I'll just keep my love at bay,
And silently watch you go on your way.
For in my heart, you'll always remain,
A one-sided love, that's filled with pain.
