Love, a flame that burns so bright,
A bond between two souls, a pure delight,
But when trust is broken, and secrets kept,
The fire fades, and the love is wept.
Cheating in love, a poison so vile,
A betrayal of trust, a heart in denial,
The passion that once burned so hot,
Is now a bitter memory, a painful knot.
The promises made, now shattered and broken,
The lies, the deceit, the truth unspoken,
The love that was once so true and pure,
Is now tarnished, forever unsure.
The pain of cheating, a wound so deep,
The scars it leaves, a secret to keep,
The heart that was once so full of love,
Is now empty, a hollow dove.
Cheating in love, a mistake so grave,
A heart left broken, a love it couldn't save,
The lessons learned, a hard-fought gain,
Trust, honesty, and love to regain.
