Lucifer's Bride

In the depths of darkness,
Where shadows dance and sway,
There is a bride of Lucifer,
Who waits for him each day.

She wears a gown of blackest silk,
Adorned with silver threads,
And on her head a crown of thorns,
That leaves her forehead red.

Her eyes are pools of midnight,
That hold a wicked gleam,
And when she smiles, it's like the sun,
Has shattered all her dreams.

For she is the bride of Lucifer,
The queen of all his pride,
And in her heart, she loves him still,
Despite the world outside.

She knows the cost of loving him,
And all that it entails,
But still she longs to be with him,
To feel his fiery scales.

For he is the lord of darkness,
The prince of all that's wild,
And in her heart, she knows he is,
The father of her child.

So she waits in the shadows,
For her love to come to her,
The bride of Lucifer,
And his forevermore.
