Here's some random topic, have you ever gotten a girlfriend before?" asked Taehyung to his new friend from this university, a fellow student named Jeon Jungkook.

"I never fall in love, i mean, that's just a waste of time." Jungkook answered as he shrug. Taehyung pouted at this one's set of mind.

"Bummer dude." said Taehyung but Jungkook just laughed at that.

'Why do you have to be this way" - taehyung thought.

He has been asking some random questions related to 'love' which so unusual that Jungkook doesn't seem to notice by now. All the topic was about love and wonder why? Because Taehyung has been trying to change Jungkook's mind for him to have a chance with this 'i don't want to fall in love' boy.

He knows there's a reason why Jungkook's just this way, and Taehyung might just know already what it is.

'I know fear is what it really was' - taehyung thought.

Yes, that's what he just thought. Jungkook said things like this because he's been afraid to catch feelings and fall in love, for what? Is he afraid that he might get hurt? Is he that vulnerable?

Taehyung and Jungkook had been pretty close by now and Taehyung's glad they are. They're not even uncomfortable with each other now and glad there's an improvement.

"now here we are, so close, yet so far, haven't i passed the test? when will you realize..." - taehyung thought.

"Baby i'm not like the rest." Taehyung unintentionally mumbled that made Jungkook turned to him.

"What?" The younger asked cluelessly.

"Nothing! Let's go now?" said Taehyung as he pack up his things and stood up.

"Well, okay then." Jungkook nod as he grab his things then they walk out the library.

"Don't wanna break your heart, wanna give your heart a break, i know your scared its wrong, like human make a mistake. There's just one life to live and there's no time to wait, to waste so let me give your heart a break."

"Taehyung what the hell are you saying?" Jungkook asked as he looked at Taehyung as if he's being ridiculous right this minute.

"W-what? I'm singing Demi Lovato's song, give me your heart a break! Let me give your heart a break~ your heart a break, your heart a break oh yeah yeah!" Taehyung sang as Jungkook just shook his head at his best friend's silliness.

"On Sunday, you went home-" Taehyung was cut off with his singing when the door of their shared apartment opened, revealing Jungkook with tears on his eyes as he stared at him. Yes, they're roommate as well.

"What happened? Are you alone? Where's that friend of yours you were telling me-" Taehyung was cut off again when Jungkook headed to their room and slammed the door shut.

"What the heck?"

"Kook? Are you okay? Can i come in?" Taehyung asked as he knocked on the door. Its also his room for pete's sake so why is he even asking for permission to come in!

Hearing nothing from the younger, he entered the room only to see Jungkook already looking at him.

"What happened?" Taehyung asked.

"Nothing." Jungkook answered shortly.

"The truth, Jungkook. I don't want you lying to me like that even though its so obvious that you're not okay. Now, what. happened." said Taehyung that made Jungkook sigh.

"Its just... I'm... I'm scared-"

"You're scared to admit that you're scared?" Taehyung asked, cutting Jungkook off. Jungkook just lowered his head and nod.

"Why?"

"Taeh, i already know that you have a thing for me and- jimin told me! That little friend i was talking about was jimin, YOUR friend as well. This is just- aish, messed up. Taeh, stop that feeling of yours because i don't want to hurt you and i'm still not ready and i'm scared because i might actually has feelings for you as well, so-"

"So? What's so wrong about that Jeon Jungkook?" Taehyung asked.

"It's awkward, taeh! And who knows if you're just like the others who'll-"

"For pete's sake, Jungkook. You know i'm not like that. We've been sticked with each other for years and- i'm not like that. Why can't you just admit that you fear a relationship instead of giving me the blame? That hurts you know." said Taehyung as he rolled his eyes.

'you're being a coward now' - taehyung thought with another mental eye roll.

"But Taeh-"

"Jungkook, how many times do i have to tell you? I'm not like them. I don't want to break your heart, but give your heart a break, huh? That's definitely different from each other." Jungkook became silent. Taehyung scooted a little closer and offered his hand. Jungkook looked at that then to Taehyung.

"The world is ours, if you want it, we can take it, if you just take my hand. There's no turning back now, kook. It came out from your very own mouth, you have feelings for me as well." said Taehyung.

"But-"

"Baby try to understand. I know you're scared, but that's just fine. But don't ve scared that you might make a mistake. Remember that there's just one life to live and there's a lot of time to wait, but not to waste, so please give me a chance to prove you i'm not like the rest?" said Taehyung. They looked at each other's eyes and it looks like Jungkook still doesn't buy it.

"Cause you've been hurt before, i can see it in your eyes. You try to smile it away, thinking you'll make a disguise. Not me, kook, not me. That's why you tell me you don't fall in love huh?" Taehyung smirked a bit.

"You're too straightforward!"

"Well i am straightforward." There's a moment of silence as the two of them stare at each other. They didn't notice that they're face are slowly getting close to each other until they felt each one's hot breath on their faces.

Jungkook blinked as their lips touched. He balled his fist but in term of Taehyung's hands on top of it, it feels like he relaxes him away. They parted as Taehyung waited for Jungkook's reaction, his hand still on top of Jungkook's.

"Kookie..."

"S-sorry taeh!" said Jungkook as he hurriedly walked out their room. Taehyung sighed as he stared at no one in the room. He looked out the open door of their bedroom and decided to go after Jungkook.

"Kook, wait!" He ran out the room but immediately stopped when he saw the front door open, which means Jungkook has ran out their shared apartment.

"Aish, this is so messed up!" He grab his phone and started to call Jungkook but the latter wouldn't just pick up.

"Aish, Jungkook."
