A story in which the chief of police assigned a new partner for Jungkook when he's used on working alone.

"THIS IS THE SEOUL CENTRAL POLICE! We're surrounding this place so you must surrender!" and it didn't take time for the police to raid the place and capture the culprits for taking hostages on a supermarket.

Once Jungkook have reassured that everything was already settled, he started making his way to his chief and saluted.

"Good job, Sargent Jeon. Nice working with you." said the chief of police as she smile at Jungkook who just look at her with so-serious face he usually wears.

"I'll help you turn over those guys, captain." He said and glared at the suspects he just captured.

"My boys will take care of that, Jeon. Right now, i would like to tell something and this just might help you get the promotion you've been wanting your whole life." said the chief of police with such sweet but also cunning-like and sarcastic voice, that's just her personality, no other meaning for your information.

Jungkook just furrowed his eye brows in confusion.

"What is it?"

"I have a new mission for you, but in this one... you're doing it with a partner." Said the chief as she smirk a little. Jungkook, who might seem not so very confused in the outside, right away opposes what he's feeling in the inside.

"But i don't need any partner—"

"I would like you to meet Sargent Kim Taehyung, he's from platoon 14 and was assigned for medic and also a guide in every mission he's in. I think he's just the perfect partner for you in this mission." That's when a guy, dressed in a casual outfit walked towards them and raised both his eye brows on Jungkook.

"I don't need a partner, chief." Said Jungkook after eyeing Taehyung from head to toe and turning to his captain.

"Nice meeting you too, partner. Apologies for the casual outfit, i just finished doing under cover on a club full of criminals." Taehyung chuckled airily and fixed his hair.

"You've gone on a club, wearing that." Asked Jungkook which didn't even came out as a question as he once again eyed Taehyung. The said one just nod with a smirk on his face.

"See, you two are already getting along. I'll discuss the new mission with you two tomorrow. For now, maybe you two should rest by the night as you two have just done a very good job for today." said the chief.

"Aren't you just so nice, chief." Taehyung smirked and winked at the chief of police, that made Jungkook scoff. Of course, who wouldn't? He just witnessed his new partner which he will never address as his partner at all, flirt with his captain.

"I'm going." said Jungkook, haven't forgetting to salute before walking away from them and walked towards his motorbike. He drove off until he reached his little apartment and also parked his motorbike on the side of it, entered the place and freely took off his top, revealing a lot of bruises caused by the fight just earlier ago.

"Fuck it hurts."

TOMORROW MORNING:

Jungkook arrived at the station and reported to the chief, minutes after Taehyung have also arrived.

"Good one you two are already here, the perfect partners I've been longing to see this morning." and that's totally a sarcasm.

"Um, chief, can we stop with the partner thing because Mr. Tough crowd in here seems to not like the sound of it." said Taehyung as he mockingly address Jungkook's annoyed expression.
