“i love you, tae”
“i love you too, jungkook, please don't leave me”
Taehyung frowned at the sudden moment that flashed in his mind. He was arranging some flowers outside the flower shop when a vision, more on a memory flashed in his mind. A memory he wished he didn't remember, and would never remember— but that's his problem. He can't forget anything and will keep on remembering them for the rest of his life.
He has a specialty, but for him its an illness. He hates it to the bone.
It's just, once his brain had managed to function the scene or memory that happened, he never forgets it, even how much he wanted to not remember it anymore. It wasn't helping him move on at all. Especially when these so called 'good memories' were made by him and his ex-boyfried, Jungkook... who's now on his way to his flower shop.
"Hi, can i buy a bouquet of sunflowers?" Jungkook asked the man he found arranging the flowers outside the shop, which happened to be Taehyung. The latter gave him a nod before they entered the shop.
Taehyung prepared the bouquet for Jungkook, now his regular costumer, then gave it to him. The other paying for the bouquet after. He mumbled a little 'thank you' in a very cute way before walking out the shop, then followed this certain someone he had been following for almost 3 days now.
Taehyung sighed. It used to be him. He used to be the one Jungkook bought flowers for. He used to be the one making him happy... but look at him now, following a girl who seems to not give a damn at his pure efforts to win her back. Taehyung knew all of this, he won't just stood there doing nothing... and not knowing nothing.
The thing is, Jungkook had an amnesia and before he was even involved on the accident, Taehyung and him had broken up already— although it was Taehyung's fault. He said he got tired and lost feelings for the younger, which the younger didn't believe of course. But Taehyung pushed him away, saying he's already tired dealing with him and everything.
Hiding the fact that he's actually dying. It's for the best, he thought, but is it really?
After the accident, Taehyung didn't really had the courage to introduce himself to the younger anymore. For him it's pointless. He's supposed to be forgotten by the younger and will be forgotten by everyone anyways.
Taehyung stared at the younger through the glass wall, watching him give the flowers to the girl who just gave him a forced smile. It's totally obvious, taehyung might think but he thought Jungkook was too blind in love to see that. It hurts him to see the younger forcing himself into someone who doesn't even give a damn to him.
Another flashback played in his mind, as Taehyung's surroundings got blurry. He immediately looked for his medicine at the table cabinet, swallowing it in a go with the water.
‘just few more weeks’ he thought.
Yes, just few more weeks he has to say goodbye to this already. And for the younger, he think this was really their fate. It is what it is.
