Taehyung, the only child, prince of their kingdom, is now currently in the balcony of his room, sweetly humming a song as he stroke the fur of his favorite dog in the whole wide world. The night sky shines so bright together with the starts who keeps on twinkling up there.

Taehyung's humming was the only thing who doesn't keep his surroundings silent until a sound rustling on the bush caught his attention. His brows furrowed, but thought that maybe it's just a wild animal or something, not until a head popped out on the balcony.

"Hi" Jungkook, his lover, smiled at him as he took his feet on the balcony property.

"It's you. For second there i thought it was a wild animal or something." Taehyung giggled softly.

"This is our thing, are you still not used to it?" Jungkook asked softly as he made his way towards his beautiful lover.

"Yes, i'm sorry." Taehyung mumbled.

"No need to say sorry, my prince." Jungkook smiled as he sat down beside Taehyung on the long chair. He look at the sleeping pup on Taehyung's lap and smiled. As long as he placed his hand on the pup's fur, the now awake puppy started wiggling his tail and jumped out Taehyung's lap.

The lovers quietly chuckled at their puppy's behavior.

"How can he recognize you just like that" Taehyung uttered as he watch Jungkook play with Yeontan with such fondness in his eyes.

Everything was fine, until a knock on the door of Taehyung's room interrupted everything. Taehyung and Jungkook made an eye contact before Jungkook stood up and stopped playing with tan. They both look at the door as Taehyung walk towards Jungkook, holding his hand.

"Taehyung~ah, my child, its me." A voice behind the door introduced.

"I-it's mother..." muttered Taehyung under his breath. He looked at Jungkook only to see him already looking at him.

"I'll go hide behind the curtain." said Jungkook and all could Taehyung do is nod as he let out his nervousness away.

'we won't get caught'- taehyung thought.

Jungkook hid behind the big curtain on the end of the balcony as Taehyung commanded Yeontan to stay put. The puppy immediately obeyed as Taehyung look at the direction where Jungkook hid. Everything was already secured so he started walking towards the door.

"My son, are you asleep already?"

"Not yet, mother! I'm coming." Taehyung answered. He calmly opened the door and let his mother enter his quiet room. Taehyung immediately sat on his bed, trying to prevent his mother to go to the balcony.

"Why are you not sleeping yet?" Taehyung's mother, the queen, asked as she walk towards her son.

"I was just about to, mother." said Taehyung.

"Well, its a good thing you're still awake though. I have something to tell you, my son." The queen said that drew Taehyung's attention. He turned to his mother and cocked an eye brow.

"What is it, mother?" Taehyung asked confused.

"We promised a marriage between you and the youngest son of the Mins." The queen said as she wait for his son's reaction. Taehyung's eye brows knitted at what he just heard, his calm look already forgotten.

"What marriage, mother? We haven't talked about a marriage, mother. I don't want to!" Taehyung shouted. The queen was slightly taken aback with Taehyung's outburst. She sighed as she walk towards her son to calm him down, only for Taehyung to swat his hands away.
