Jungkook kissed Taehyung's temple as the elder smiled at him, kissing his lips. The sun was already up but it seems like no one wants to get out from bed yet. Their naked bodies cuddling under the sheets, feets tangled with each other.

“i love you” jungkook whispered in a husky voice.

“i love you too” taehyung responded and hugged jungkook closer.

Silence filled the room as the atmosphere lulled them to sleep, not until Jungkook felt his insides almost ripping, a pained growl escaped his mouth. His wolf fighting inside him, wanting to go to a certain someone it calls its mate.

“j-jungkook, what's wrong?” taehyung asked but jungkook just shook his head, refusing to say anything as he curled into a ball, eyes shut tight. taehyung looked at him, worry evident in his eyes as he got out from the bed and slipped into a bathrobe, calling out for Jimin and Yoongi.

They all came back as Jungkook now screamed in agony, meanwhile taehyung, he doesn't even know shit about what's happening to his boyfriend.

“this bastard rejected his mate!” yoongi exclaimed, eyes fixed on how jungkook is in pain right now.

‘m-mate?’ the thought only triggered taehyung.

“jungkook, why did you do that? you know there's always consequences!” jimin said, but jungkook just shake his head once again, heavy breaths escape his lips.

“i don't need her, i only need taehyung in my life— ahh— fuck” jungkook once again growled as he kept on trashinh around their bed. Taehyung looked at him in shock. He just choosed him over his mate together with the pain.

“it won't take long for your father to know your reckless decision, jungkook. We need to put on a solution for these because he'll rip the hell out of you two once he found out.” yoongi said as taehyung looked at them in horror. It was indeed true, and they knew it. Taehyung kept silent as he doesn't know what to say.

“w-we'll run away.” jungkook said, sitting up, his facial screaming it still hurt but he could care less.

“but jungkook—”

“i said we'll run away! i will not risk taehyung's life just because of a reckless decision and a stupid mate.” jungkook said, his voice booming in anger as the natural alpha he is.

“and you already did.” yoongi said blandly.

After the talk, everyone moved according to what they planned. Taehyung was still in daze until he found himself running on the woods with Jungkook dragging him.

Taehyung know he's not okay, but now he's running away with him even though rejecting his mate can kill him, because of the pain if he wouldn't be able to handle it. He found Jungkook clutching his chest as they run, other wolves including jungkook's father behind them.

Taehyung's eyes brimmed with tears but still, his feet kept running. Jungkook pulled him the other way as they hide behind a huge tree in the lower part of the woods. Jungkook turned to him and hugged him tight.

“shh, you're fine, you're fine. nothing's going to happen hm? shh stop crying now.” jungkook tried calming him down with his soft voice and kisses, having a huge affect on taehyung as he nod his head.

“sorry for getting you into this kind of situation, tae. trust me, yeah? I'll lure them away, but wait for me on the gate at the end of this woods where we first met.” said jungkook as he pointed on the way to the gate.
